Port A Lock Latch Protector (3 pack)

I think this is a wonderful lock. My office at work does not lock. Being a breastfeeding mom I can now pump knowing someone can't walk in on me pumping. I had sit in a chair against the door just so I knew I wouldn't get walked in on. I just wished I had this lock with my first child.. I got walked in on a few times. Now with this lock I can pump and work with ease. I don't have the lock installed since the holes don't line up on my office door. I just insert the lock when needed, which is very easy to-do. Looks like the lock can be installed for homes or non-commercial doors. There is no chance anyone can come in even with it being inserted. I put it in place and pulled really hard while leaning back and the door stayed lock. If I could give it more stars I would. =)

I moved into an apartment with charming older door knobs throughout. I am not inclined to replace them, and their lower position and antique design would make it difficult. These portable locks are a wonderful solution. They can be screwed into the wall, but I just put them on and take them off when I want to use them. It was a perfect solution in a pinch, and I found them well worth the price.

High quality door locking mechanism. Seems solid and easy to install. Good for my door that has a bad push button lock.

I had one something like these about 40 years ago and could not find one to replace it until I saw these. I use them when traveling for extra protection. They are easy to use and do the job.

I can't say if it works or not, because there isn't a door in my house where the things can be used. I have an older house, and I'd have to do some major drilling and digging out of wood to get the things in. Not what I had in mind.I will try to get one set in place this weekend, but I am not as handy with woodworking tools as I should be, so it may become a disaster.Be aware that older homes might not work with this item. Too bad, as I really wanted to place these on my doors.

My daughters door didn't lock well and I was looking for an easy solution. When I found this product I was excited. The best part about this item is if you can use a screw driver you can install it on your door. You will need to remove the plate that your door clicks into. With so many able to use a credit card to open some doors they would not be able to do that with this latch protector. Plus, this item is great to bring traveling. You could very easily install this at night, for security, and remove it in the morning with no damage down. There are so many reports of crimes happening to people in hotel rooms that aren't secure. I really want my daughter and her roommates to use this on their dorm room at night. I just don't trust everyone that could have a key including the security guards. So, it's wonderful that this package came with three. We have the perfect amount for our needs. Finally, this is a sturdy items that is made very well. It's a heavy, thick piece of metal.
