Bought it because it was longer than my other thermometer. Works great for a turkey fryer

The description says it’s a candy thermometer. Unless you are making 5 gallons of candy, this is way too long to use as a candy thermometer. I didn’t notice the length in the description;; was just looking for a candy thermometer.

Does not have different required meat temps printed on face.

We used this thermometer the last 2-3 times when we are frying. It's been accurate and my meats just how I like it. Love the length.
