White: Not very useful. Green: great.
Amazon doesn’t let me review each model separately even though I bought two completely different models. Here’s my review for the white one (the one with the bowl up top) I don’t see this being used as the main feeding station. Some of the kibble sized food first comes easily out of some of the openings and the rest is super hard to reach. I suppose you can use it with treats but mine is collecting dust. It wasn’t a particularly good purchase. One star. Here’s my review for the green puzzle feeder: this one is actually great. It slowed my cats eating considerably and he doesn’t eat out of boredom much anymore since he has to work for getting the food and he’s just lazy. I also own a catit brand feeder with tubes which my cat figures out really fast and just eats as fast as he would from a regular bowl so this puzzle type feeder is better than that. My only complaint for the green feeder is the crevices where the small kibble gets stuck sometimes. But for the price I’m not complaining that much. 4.5 stars for the green feeder.

Fantastic for bored, food motivated kitty
My cat isn't the sort that eats too fast and then pukes (luckily!) but he is easily bored. And when he's bored he can become a tad aggressive. He is very food motivated so I've been looking for a board that I could put treats in and make him work for them. I've even started feeding breakfast on it! He definitely doesn't like having to work harder for the kibble, but it's helped curb his play aggression and keeps his mind sharp. Love it!Pros: LARGE. This board is a lot bigger than I expected. My boy is 14lbs of pure muscle, and he can easily fit his paws into most of the crevices. It's also a plastic, so it's easy to clean (though I only use dry kibbles and treats so it doesn't get too dirty). Nice colour too, most of these things are uglyCons: even though the board is large, it is riddled with little pegs and things. Though my cat -can- get his paws into most places there are some that he can barely fit into so I don't use them often. Not enough to knock points. Also this board is a bit light, some cats might be able to flip it. Also it would be nice if the cups were a little bigger, they are my cats favourite on this board.Overall, great board for the bored kitty!

Great for cats!
Great product! Sturdy and well made. Love the beautiful bright color! I put treats in it for my cat and he's able to work out all the treats. Not too easy but not too hard that he loses interest. Smooth plastic is easy to clean.Note: hurts way worse than a Lego to accidentally step on but very sturdy and not easily damaged.

I was skeptical, but this is great. This successfully slowed my insatiable kitty's snarfing
I was skeptical of this, thinking my cat would reject it or outsmart it (though admittedly I do not have a smart cat). I have a cat that engorges itself with cat food pellets, snarfing in the 1/4 cup of food in under 30 seconds at each feeding in a bowl, of which it then goes over to the other cat's bowl (who has better self-control) and eats the rest of his pellets for him, bullying him out and then acting as it's a favor he should be grateful for. Then, like clockwork, the cat vomits from eating too fast. This product annoyed the heck out of my cat for the first week--it sometimes would just sit next to it and looking between the food puzzle and me with great disdain before finally working a few pellets out of it to eat. While it's irritation was a great side effect (nice to avenge the vomiting), it now has embraced the puzzle and still eats its pellets as quickly as it possible can. Which at best is at least 5 minutes of time. Enough to consume and spread out ingestion just enough so that it hasn't vomited since it began using this food puzzle. SUCCESS! And it thrills me it has to put so much tedious effort into eating, since I had to put some much effort into cleaning up it's puke.

Perfect for my cat that is overweight!
This works perfect for my cat that has been overeating and the other one that has been eating too fast and throwing it back up! It makes them take their time and eat slower! It works perfect!

Great Entry Level Puzzle Feeder to Discourage Food Scarfing Cats
My cat, Tommy Toothless, is incredibly food motivated. I adopted him when he weighed an unbelievable 17lbs. I spent close to 3 years struggling to negotiate him into a diet that wouldn't drive him ballistic (he's a loud talker and isn't afraid to keep you up throughout the night hahaha). I had some good luck using automatic feeders to incrementally bring down his daily portion sizes throughout the day. This new meal plan lead to exciting weight loss, but he still had food on his mind just about all of the time. Cats have an impressive sense of time so when the automatic feeders activate via timer everyday a food motivated cat like Tommy will know to hover around the dish. These personality types also tend to inhale their food because they are incredibly impatient. When hard food is scarfed in this manner it can lead to unpleasant vomiting, which will only leave your cat hungrier and less nourished.A puzzle feeder will help solve the problem of food scarfing and it isn't requisite to purchase the priciest product to notice obvious results. I chose this puzzle feeder because it held the bottom price tier and it was shaped like a cute little cyclops pig. That being said it is very clear that Tommy is more engaged during meal times, but less inclined to unsafe scarfing. I have not noticed him getting sick after meal times and he is also a lot more chill in-between scheduled feedings. I'm sure this new toy has encouraged the improved behavior.
