I don't wear nail varnish that often, just for special occasions or when I want to treat myself. To be fair, I often don't have the nails to varnish as they split if they get too long. But with lockdown, my nails have grown more successfully in general and so I thought I would try this nail varnish.I was sent 'Binge Worthy', which is a grey with a hint of beige/brown to it. I was attracted to this polish as it requires no base or top coat and is quick drying as well as being vegan-friendly. I've not got the patience to be bothering with multiple coats and waiting for each to dry.The angled brush made application relatively easy, and obviously I'm not a pro when it comes to varnishing my nails. The varnish dried quickly to a glossy, high shine. I applied only one coat as I did not want a strong shade, but you can apply a second coat if you do. With me, whenever I varnish or have my nails varnished, it only lasts a few days before chipping and so was the case this time - so this is not a plus or minus for this product, rather a reflection on me.It's not the cheapest product but considering its convenience -- one coat that dries in minutes, and interesting selection of colours -- then I am happy to recommend.

I was excited to try this product. This is my first experience with Essie as I found their varnishes quite expensive. Now I understand why!Firstly, I love the colour. It's an every day, easy colour, you don't have to worry about matching your outfits as it is so neutral.About the quality, it's easy to apply, I applied two coats but you can even apply 1 and you still get rich colour. It applies evenly. It's shiny and in my opinion does not need a top coat. A plus for me, as I don't have a lot of free time to do my nails. It looks like I've had a professional shellac done! Even my partner who rarely notices my nails said they look nice. It dries after about a minute.I do chores (washing dishes, cleaning etc) daily and they lasted 2-3 days without chipping noticeably. If you need them to last longer I would try their "gel" line.Overall I'm impressed and I will be purchasing from this brand for sure. I love many of the colours they do on this line.

I am writing this review after applying and wearing this varnish for 3 days. I’ve been busy and active. I’ve had my hands In the washing up bowl a few times, bathed etc and the varnish has stayed put, just a couple of mm sized chips on the ends.I applied two coats not far after one another as I discovered the drying time to be very quick compared to some of my other varnishes.The colour dries a little more grey than the mink shade in the picture but I love it.The consistency of the varnish is slinky smooth and the brush shape is rounded and flat to offer the best possible application.For the price, I would say that this varnish is incredibly decent.Thank you for reading and I hope you found my review helpful.
