25 - 1 Inch Duraflex Stealth Plastic Buckles

Q: I have an eagle creek backpack with Stealth buckles. They say w.j. duraflex stealth 25mm pat no 220802. Will these males fit in my existing females?

We always recommend changing both ends of the buckle. Even if it is the same exact style, the manufacturer may have changed their mold, and it may not fit right.

Q: How are you supposed to attach the webbing to this device? One side only has one slot and won't hold the webbing at all.

Webbing on the side with the single slot must be (attached) stitched back onto the webbing making a non-adjustable loop. The side with the double slots is intended for webbing that may be adjusted by sliding it through the double slots.

Q: is made with UV degradation resistant material?

They are made from Acetal Plastic with no extra UV protection.

Q: What is the weight testing on these buckles?

I don't know if they have ever done any weight testing. I would guess between 25 and 50 lbs. They are made of plastic so their intended use is to strap things down. They are not made to safely hang anything from them. They will only hold weight until the plastic breaks.
