Power converter almost the size of the saw... impeccable customer service
I have changed the rating to 5 stars since my original review. I still think the power converter should be smaller or saws like this should be built for US power. It is a great versatile tool for smaller and therefor more precise cuts than a conventional table saw. What really earned the 5 star rating is that based on the first review when the power supply failed the company immediately jumped on the opportunity to address and solve the problem and ultimately sent a replacement power supply for free. I very much appreciate a company which stands behind the integrity of their product and that is what they did for me! Thank you very much.Previous post: Great saw when it works, granted it’s been moved at wound quite a bit, but not abused and something to know is that this item comes with a laughably huge energy converter (220 to 110) because the item is out-of-USA manufactured. I actually like this saw for precise cuts, but the fence will limit the size of the items you can work on, but it’s easy to integrate this item into a shop table if it wasn’t for this dumb converter which has now caused the saw to stop working (I know because I put a regular adapter chord in the saw and although I blew a fuse in my house, the saw moved so... (don’t do that). Nice thing is, the female end of the saw is like most American three prong appliances so I may just buy a secondary power converter if I can’t fix the one that came with it.

Good little saw
Bought saw for wife. She is a 'crafter' and saw is a convenient and portable little saw that suits her needs. While true it is NOT made for heavy duty cutting, it cuts right thru any of her crafting materials with little effort. She loves it. We both like the convenience of the side drill chuck for attaching a small grinding wheel. Instructions leave a lot to be desired, but with patience most can figure out how to assemble & use everything. Just study the pictures closely. Separate power supply is slightly bulky, but can be worked around. I would recommend to anyone who indulges in crafts as a hobby.

Shock hazard. Not safe to use.
I rarely write bad reviews. I feel compelled to do it in this case. Below I explain why I reluctantly arrived at the one star rating. The saw has two component, the actual saw and the power supply.Since the power supply is the most dangerous part I will discuss that first. As seen in the picture, both the 12 Volt and the 120 Volt screw terminals are un protected accidental shorts could easily occur. More seriously the 120 Volt connection has no stress relief. The cable could easily be ripped out and cause a short or electrical shock. I believe that the absence of stress relief is agains most codes. My guess is that the vendor is using an off the shelf generic power supply that is designed to be placed inside a secure enclosure. The saw unit would be very nice if a few tweaks were made:1. Cheap wing-nuts are used to secure the fence. More substantive nuts would enhance usability.2. Sawdust exits through a hole on the side. A fixture for attaching a vacuum cleaner hose would be helpful.3. The saw has rubber feet. These do not keep the saw for wandering when in use. A way to secure the saw to the workbench would be helpful.4. The connection to the 12 Volt power supply is in front of the unit next to the on/off switch. Placing it in the back would be much less intrusive.5. The 12 Volt connection uses a standard 120 Volt plug. Accidentally connecting a 120 Volt cable would fry the motor.6. There is a hole on the side that provides unprotected access to the internal electrical components. Not safe. With some simple tweaks, this could have been great little saw, as it is it is a dangerous device. None of the problems with the machine would be difficult to fix, and I have the impression that the designers never saw the issues at they never. used the saw in a shop setting. I really wanted to like this saw, instead I am returning it.

Huanyu Instruments mini-Table Saw
This is a cool little hobby mini- table saw. I think I’m going to love it! It’s really neat! Very small and compact, yet very sturdy and well made. It’s nice and heavy so it should be nice and stable on a table or bench, yet easy to pick up, move around and store. It’s not at all rickety or rinky, but quality machined. It will be perfect for making precise cuts on small pieces of wood, plastics, etc. for various projects. It was a kit that had to partially be put together. The instructions were rather lacking but I figured out how from the pictures and it works like a champ! It even has a secondary axle opening on the side and comes with a small chuck so that a small grinding wheel or other drimel tools can be attached and it can be used as a mini-bench grinder! This will be a nice helpmate for my hobbies and crafts, and even small home projects.

A Great Mini Table Saw
If you are a hobbyist, this is an awesome tool to have in your arsenal. It is portable and tough enough to handle any small woodworking or craft projects. A majority of my cuts to make this lantern was from the table saw. It's much more powerful and sturdier than it looks. The cuts are smooth and accurate. A special shout out to the sellers. One of the best follow-up feedbacks on Amazon. You won't be disappointed.

Excelent Saw
Tried out this small saw and was very pleased. It handles all soft woods and mdf. Passing wood slowly is key to a clean cut without forcing the blade to stop. The wood blade is excellent! It's crucial to keep a sharp blade, get the blade sharpened before its dull and this saw will work great. Best part is barely any dust. Attach a good shop vac and the dust is very minimal. I use it in my living room to finish small home projects. As a pro carpenter, I approve, and the customer service was helpful when I requested an extra blade. Great product !!

This is a hobby saw
I don’t usually write reviews but I’m making an exception here. When I was looking to buy I saw some not so positive reviews and wanted to give my perspective. First off this is not a dewalt it is a hobby saw. I use it for building RC airplanes and cut balsa and thin ply and it is exactly what I needed. Small compact with a good sharp blade. As long as you aren’t expecting the features and capability of a full size table saw you will be fine. Also I saw some concerns about the separate power supply and exposed connections. The power supply is separate and does have a plastic cover to cover the connections. The cable from the power supply to the saw is about 4’ long so there really isn’t a problem keeping it out of the way. I guess kids could get in trouble with it but why are kids near a table saw and unplug it when your done. I highly recommend this saw for small jobs and the hobbyist that doesn’t need a full blown table saw for their work

Nicely made, accurate and great value
This is a marvellous little saw! The blade runs true and there are no machine marks on the wood edges after a cut. The mitre gauge is of good quality and the angle markings are accurate. Overall, the machine has a very good finish, although I spend some time with a fine file 'cleaning up' a few burrs. For instance, in the track into which the mitre gauge moves, etc. I am a cabinetmaker and my experience with new equipment is that there is always some improvements required. My one criticism is that the power cord could have been a little longer.

It’s an amazing small table saw.
It’s got power. Cuts accurately once set up. I’ve cut wood, aluminum, brass, silver and small stones with appropriate blade changes. Dies what I needed.
