Quality Product. Good Value!
This rim lock has a reversible latch to fit LH or RH hinged doors. The lock has a little sticker on the back saying use a screwdriver to reverse latch (?).Not very clear maybe, so I’ve added a few pics to show how it’s done.Use a small flat screwdriver, push it firmly into the slot behind the latch, push the brass bit of the latch fully forward, twist it round 180° into new position, remove screwdriver, job done!Good luck.

Good for the task
Works well and the latch can be turned the opposite way depending if on your gate. Mine opens out rather than in. Docked a star because the handle is plastic. I didn’t know that and I was expecting a metal one.

Good lock
I replaced a previous lock on my garden gate that wasn’t that old but didn’t work anymore. A better quality lock. Easy to install and so far works well

Be aware the lock you will receive has much more simple easy to pick key set not the more complicated lock as shown in the description. This lock is very light metal and will not offer much resistance if forced . There are cheaper locks that are the same quality but was expecting what was shown so ordered from this retailer which was a mistake.
