Great buy, awesome interface.. kinda frustrating to set up, youtube is your friend
Getting this to function properly was a chore.. some factory setting had it set up so no audio would come out as the region and stereo settings were incorrect.. youtube and product support through the seller resolved these issues and now it works great.. looks amazing installed.. the knobs on the outter panel that replace the factory knobs dont actually function they are just there for looks its great with the new android 10 system (i have one installed in another vehicle with an android 8 and this is a much smoother interface) my wife is excited to have In dash navigation and backup camera finally on her 2009 Highlander

Wish it was better
Able to install pretty easily, however it was not directly plug and play as stated . There were a few wires from my highlander that had no where to plug into the new stereo. Maybe that’s why the wheel controls didn’t /wouldn’t work, even after going through the vague setup instructions. So I got this thing in , tried it out and figured I’d keep it even though the wheel controls didn’t work. After initial install The radio and blue tooth worked fine. Reinstalled dashboard everything was working great, blue tooth connected to my iPhone , radio hot local stations. A few minutes go by , clean up a bit then I start the radio to give a final check and the thing starts glitching , switching between blue tooth and radio constantly. So I take a break out of frustration, then I go back to give it another try in a half hour hoping it would reset and frankly I didn’t want to pull the dashboard back apart. But still had the problem . I really do wish it worked out, the fit and finish in the dashboard was perfect, it looked fantastic! The graphics were great and the equalizer was cool too, but the glitching was too much. I just couldn’t get the radio to stay on either Bluetooth or the radio.

Wiring Issues-steering wheel programing/Car launcher stuck on default
I have a 2012 base highlander, no JBL. I bought this radio because my OEM one died on me. I like it a lot overall but there are a few issues. The biggest problem was steering wheel programing. They sent some extra literature on the software interface but its the hardware interface that is the problem. If you car is only recognizing one key (mine was the up key), its because they wired in the primary AND secondary controller connections. This system works on a ground and a signal wire. By adding both connections I think what's happening is its doubling the signal and defaulting to the key with the highest value. But that's just a guess. So how do you fix the issue? The pamphlet I received had a wiring diagram and pin P6 on the main power connector called out the secondary steering wheel signal. Two gray wires came out of that pin. One went to a connector with just 3 connections (steering wheel 1, 2 and ground). The other goes to a different connector with around 6-8 occupied pins. I removed that pin from the connector and it solved my problem. To remove the pin you need to come in from the front of the connector. If you shine a light and look close, there is a small plastic piece that latches the pin in place. I used a phone sim card removal tool to lift up that little latch and pull the pin out. Once I did that and wired everything back up, the steering wheel key mapping software recognized all the keys on my steering wheel and I had zero issues reprograming them.Alternatively you could just cut the wire but if you get the wrong one or it doesn't work you'll have to splice it or repin it. If you just pull the pin and it doesn't work you can put it back.Additionally I had a problem setting the home screen. I downloaded a different launcher because the default one kind of sucks. Even after setting the new launcher as the default, it goes to the factory launcher. I'm not sure if Its a manufacturer software issue or something else and I've spent a lot of time troubleshooting it. I've seen things on forums for launchers complaining about this and android 10 and I've tried everything and it defaults to the crappy, not customizable, factory launcher. Kind of annoying but not worth ripping it out and sending it back. I just mapped a steering wheel key to my bluetooth audio so I didn't have to hit home>apps>Bluetooth audio every time I wanted to get to that interface.

Snaps right in, screen is huge and good quality
Uh wow, for the price, this is insanely good quality. You can even turn on YouTube for the kids!Snaps right in, and if you aren’t doing any fancy audio inputs or backup cams, it’s literally plug and play, no splicing. I’m really happy with it.My only qualm is the tacky fake knobs, but oh well.

Missing Key Features Despite Helpful Customer Service
It took me a while to get this installed on my 2011 Highlander but some features just don't work, so I ended up returning it. The features with problems are:1. It does not connect with the factory backup camera. Customer service was helpful with trouble shooting but ultimately concluded that the buyer will need to get a new backup camera if he/she wants to use the new display instead of the tiny one from the factory. A simple harness ought to solve this problem but they don't have it.2. The steering wheel controls won't work on the head unit. Customer service was again very helpful with instructions but ultimately I was only able to get some buttons to work. There should be a fix for this.Overall, this is a solid unit for its features and functions. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like they are putting much effort into refining it and pretty much selling it "as is" with some deficiencies. It will work fine for the buyers who are good with cars, but will be a big challenge for those without that background.

Great product for the money and beyond.
This is an amazing product it would have been perfect if they added some function to the dummy knobs. It is disappointing to touch them and nothing happens they did it to maximize the screen size and fit well.No instructions at all YouTube has limited resources Amazon cannot help you are on your own feel free to ask me if you have questions

So far it's great
The picture shows a YouTube video called deep emotions (recommend) and its basically like a tablet/stereo. Gotta play with it to learn. The installation was done at a professional shop, installer claimed making the steering controls got tricky and said there was an extra connection there that wasn't necessary. Will update later on but very happy so far.
