Really Brings This Set To Life.
Just did multiple kits and no issues with any of them (that weren't created by wire chewing cats). These kits require some deductive reasoning and ability to work with small parts. They use pictorial instructions that can be hard to follow at times, but looking ahead can usually reveal what they were getting at. There generally is enough wire that even if you make a mistake and don't want to start over you can still get the wire where it needs to go. My first recommendation for building one of these kits it to get out the battery pack and one of the junction boards so you can test lights after they have been installed, but before moving on to the next step. I located Briksmax's website and it is possible to order individual bags of parts (not the easiest to find, got there through a link on one of the products descriptions), either on their website or through Amazon. I was very impressed that Briksmax purchases actual Lego pieces for any parts that they include in the kit.

Did not work but Great customer service
Edit: after contacting customer service they gave me troubleshooting help and then offered to send me free replacement parts in an attempt to get the lights up and running. They were very helpful and the process was simple.I spent several hours carefully following instructions to get a finished product of no lighting whatsoever. I double checked connecters, but don't have a charge tester to see where the connection issue lies. Both the USB and battery power sources have not turned on any of the lights. It's frustrating to say the least. This wiring causes the build to be very fragile as well. The wires underneath the bricks make them stick out slightly

What a Cool Product!
What a great product this is. The bags were separated according to each step and everything worked great. My son and I put it together. It really enhanced the ship and my son is going crazy making stop motion videos with it now. I'm impressed with the work that went into not only designing this but also packaging it. Nice job!The instructions are put together like a Lego set instructions are except it is photos which can be more-difficult to interpret at first but it got easier as it went along. Overall, very impressed and ordered one for the Ultimate Lego Millennium Falcon set I just ordered that I will review after Santa Claus comes to our house.

Works good
It comes with a battery pack or a usb port, my only gripe was the cable connecting the battery pack to the model is not very long. But what I did was used the usb part and bought a male/female cable and was able to run the cord up to the shelf where the model was. Works great when you want to turn the lights on you plug it into the outlet and it's on until you unplug it. Or there is an on off switch on the battery pack, but I feel like using the usb the lights are brighter.

Looks good
The kit was easier to assemble than the first set I purchased from them, (Darth Vader’s castle). One of my favorite things from this kit is that the battery pack can fit in the hallway of the ship right in front of the main chamber and right behind the sleeping hold. There are two doors that open into this hallway but no real detail or anything inside. So you can display the ship with those doors closed and you can’t see the battery pack at all.

Mando would approve!
Makes a cool look even better! Highly recommend these lights if you're displaying or for light playing. Since there are some wires exposed (not too much be enough to snag on stuff) I recommend using any spare gray pieces to hide the wiring, especially on the bottom. Definitely take your time, the instructions were great and you will have to dissassemble some components to get the lights installed. Kids may need adult help/supervision. I am very happy with the final result.Edit: whoops! I installed the wings backwards. They are now both facing in the right direction. Sheesh, I wouldn't last as a mechanic in the outer rim.

Great Results - Tedious Installation
When installed light effect is great. Installing was difficult. Tiny connectors, no color coding, instructions are 3/4 OK, but leaves out important details. If I ever get another kit, would connect and test before following the instructions. The hanging wires don't look good. Ended up drilling holes to facilitate routing the cables. Connectors are easy to damage as the instructions state. Ended up ordering additional components to replace the ones damaged. Having extra pieces to test components and alternate installations proved worthwhile.

Looks amazing! Easy install. Fiddly, read my notes. Not suitable for play after you put lights on
100% worth the 40 bucks and makes a great build that much cooler! Looks great in the dark.I thought about installing as I built, but I ended up making the entire Razor Crest first and then disassembling a bit to put the lights in because you need all the parts in place to get a spatial sense of how to route the wires. It did not take very long - about 2 hours. The instructions do a good job of routing the wires so they are largely hidden, which is nice. Keep in mind that the wires compromise the structural integrity of the build some what (you can no longer push certain bricks flush against each other). I suppose you could cut small notches in the bricks to accommodate the wires but I'm not that obsessive :)The way the light is attached to the clear cockpit windshield plastic means that you cannot remove the windshield completely from the ship anymore, and you need to be careful when doing so because there's not alot of give in the wire. When you're doing the wires on the two main engines, be sure to leave as much wire dangling out of the engine as you can, because the connection to the power chip inside the ship body doesn't leave alot of Slack. I had to use tweezers to get this hooked up and it was a bit fiddly.Lastly, on step 73, do not place that bar where they tell you to. Move it one row back, because otherwise it will block one of the carbonite slots, and I didn't realize this until later. For all these reasons I would say that the ship is no longer suitable for play by children after you put the lights on, but that's ok - I assume most adults are buying this as a display piece, but fyi.Still giving 5 stars because it was beautifully packaged, easy to use, and makes the ship look amazing!

Very cool
Super cool lighting kit. Looks amazing on the model. Integrity of the build does decrease with installation and it required a few little modifications in order to hide the battery pack /wires. Overall a great high-quality product. I would definite purchase from this seller again.

Amazing addition to the Razor Crest
Amazing venue for money, it really does add another layer to the set! Can’t recommend this enough for anyone using the Razor Crest as a display piece, it looks incredible with these LED’s.The LED’s are easy to install with the step to step guide which each wire labelled clearly.Really happy with this purchase, will be keeping an eye out for what is released in the future!
