I’m using them in a wooden table and they slide a little, so I’m disappointed because it said they were non-slip.

These are nice! They matched my kitchen counter top perfectly and I use them to put hot plates on or cups to protect my countertop

I typically hate placemats because they move all over the place, but bought these to save our new table from messy holiday dinners. They are no doubt easy to clean, durable and the appropriate thickness for a placemat. Best yet, a classy leather type feel and they stay in place. Would buy again. Spendy, but worth it!

All my wife and I could find at the stores where woven ones, which are useless for protecting the table or table cloth, all spilled liquids would go right through them. I took a chance on these and my wife and I are very pleased. They look decent and work great protecting the table cloth, I'm sick of having to put the table cloth in the washing machine after almost every meal (we have kids).

These turned out to be really nice looking - like faux leather. The only thing I've noticed is there are shiny spots from where something warm had been placed on it. But overall, happy with the look and purchase.

I bought these mats to place hot foods so they don't damage my kitchen countertops. So far, they have been working well. As a test, I put my hands on the bottom of a very hot dish and I didn't feel the heat come through. The mats are nicely designed with the same pattern and colors on both sides. I like that they are thick as they will surely lasts longer. This is not real leather, but it does have the look and feel of real leather, and without the annoying smell of it. Cleaning the mats were as easy as wiping them with a cloth, or rinsing them under running water. The 6 pack is perfect for our family of 4, with 2 leftover to hold any sharable hot dishes at the table.

I've been having a heck of a time finding the right placemats and made some unfortunate choices. Some are too thick (felt or bamboo), the wrong material (cloth or felt), some allow liquids to pass though onto the table (plastic weave), some are pig ugly (vinyl).Finally I discovered these Homing Faux Leather placemats. They have an attractive textured surface that you can stick under the faucet or just sponge off. Spilled liquids do not pass though. They are thin enough that a glass placed on the edge won't tip over.Finally--a good-looking, practical placemat! Five stars.

2 out of the 6 placemats were received with visible flaws. One has a visible crease, and the other has a deep dent. I would have expected a better quality. Just received them today , So I don’t know about the durability or the claims for heat resistance but I’m already unimpressed save your money
