Overview These Nike running shoes have many great features, such as
This review is for a casual, one to two miles a day runner. Throughout this review I will cover such criteria as the design, versatility, comfort, and the various customizations available for these Nike Free 4.0 V3's.DesignAt just 9 ounces per shoe, these Nike's offer a barefoot-feel running style, while still giving your feet support over any surface. The sole flexes to match the form of your feet as they move, making it feel as if your not even wearing any shoes.VersatilityAlthough these are classified as running shoes, they are also great for going to the gym, walking, and even just wearing around town. These Nike 4.0 V3's are well worth the 99-dollar purchase price when considering the versatility of being able to wear them for nearly any occasion throughout your day.ComfortWrap around mesh and premium arch support make these one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. The outer mesh acts as a barrier to the outside elements, while still providing you with soft and sturdy support on the inside. The mesh also helps in reducing irritation to your feel whilst still offering breath-ability.CustomizationsAnother great feature of these Nike running shoes is that they can be ordered in various color patterns. Nike gives you six different color combinations to choose from: white/back, grey/white, red/back, yellow/grey, blue/black, and orange/blue. This gives you, as a buyer, greater freedom in choosing a color scheme that fits you best.ConclusionAs a college student in the harsh weather environment of the Midwest I have exposed this pair of shoes to extreme conditions. After five months of putting at least one to two miles a day on these Nike 4.0 V3's I am still extremely satisfied with them. They still are held together and appear to be in the same condition as the day I bought them.

light weight and with enough cushioning
This is my 3rd pair of Nike free running shoes. The previous two are 3.0 plus and before that I was wearing Asics GT. All I can say is that with the GT my knees would hurt if I do more than 4 miles in about 9 min/mile pace. After switching to the Nike Free, I could do the same pace and up to 8 miles with no problem what so ever.I am size 8 EE and wears size 9 with these. The toe box is large and comfy. Note: I do run with these without no socks.
