Great product.
After reading some reviews about a difficult install process I was reluctant to purchase, but I fortunately had zero issues getting them in. Just remember to install with the curve of the radius as a guide. Using a bearing race tool of the same size as the end was very helpful in tapping them in. It actually took longer to get the set screws in than the baffle, the lock tight made it a challenge to get started inside the end of the pipe. The Fat Bob I just purchased had the baffles removed so these made a huge difference and sounds even better now.

The proper tools will help!!
I wanted to tone down the big radius pipes a little. The change is not dramatic, but the higher tones were brought down a bit. I still think it's a win. I was getting a ringing in my right ear even with a full face helmet. Not getting the ringing now.Couple things on the removal and install:Removal:1. Be sure to pre-spray inside the pipes with a penetrating spray if the pipes have more than a small amount of miles on them. Your goal is to spray the stock baffles within the pipes. This will help break up SOME of the buildup.2. Remove set screw.3. Use, rent, or borrow a mechanics slide puller hammer. Use the small hook attachment and hold it on the welded nut on the inside of the stock baffle. Takes a little work to get it to hook properly. Use your other hand to slide the hammer portion. Do smaller pulls and the carbon and possible tight spots should be no problem. Took me about 25 pulls on one of the baffles. The other came out easily with just a few pulls.Install:1. Keep the plastic on the fiberglass portion.2. I put the baffles in my chest freezer to shrink them ever so slightly.3. Use a dead blow hammer.4. My strikes were not hard, but firm.5. When hitting in the baffle try to keep the fiberglass from bunching up. It may get caught on the entry point of the pipe and begin bunching up. I used a hard flat plastic piece to push in the bunched up fiberglass.6. Be sure to align the new baffles bolt threads with the hole in the pipe. I kept checking the alignment as I got closer to having it inserted. I made a few adjustment with a pipe wrench and slightly twisting the bell on the end as I hammered. One of my holes ended up slightly off, so I had to remove that pipe and Dremel out the hole in the pipe to get the bolt started. I couldn't get the new baffle out, so this was my next best option. On the second baffle I made a mark on the tail of the baffle to help me see the alignment better.7. One of my baffles was ever so slightly oblong at the entrance, so it was a bit of a struggle to get started. I used a large channel lock to get it more rounded.8. My pipes are black, and I cleaned them off before starting the bike. Be sure to clean chrome pipes well with the appropriate chrome cleaner.9. When I started my bike a little smoke came out of the pipe from the plastic around the fiberglass burning off.Enjoy!!

Too big, bad welds
In order to get these installed, I've had to take my bike for a long ride so that the pipes were scalding, while the baffels were in the freezer to shrink as much as possible. I go them to just squeeze inside the tip and then began the long process of sledgehammering them into the pipes (gently so as to not break the stem bolts for the pipes). After an hour of tapping the first one into place, I gave the second it's first love tap and the welds on it gave up the ghost.I'd send em back, but good luck ever getting them out now. They are pretty quiet though.
