These trays are of good quality for lightweight projects such as new vegatable sprouts etc.

So in expanding an effort to grow microgreens I ordered these inexpensive trays that were available. These showed up in a day, and were packed well. I washed them and let them air out in the sun for a couple days before use. I find that they are thin enough to be pretty flimsy, especially when loaded with soil and planted for growing. I ended up doubling up trays ( thickness of 2 trays to make 1 stronger tray ). This worked out well but obviously isn't ideal if you need to plant the full quantity of trays you ordered. The depth of these is great for microgreens to allow good root penetration into the soils. Because the plastic is pretty flexible, it is easy to side edge water the trays. I would not recommend a lot of handling or carrying these around fully loaded with soils without some kind of bottom support. I don't agree with the product description of "heavy duty" but they are certainly adequate for common uses.

Arrived damaged, melted & cracked

meh those reviews are all bias based on free items, the tray is not sturdy, after a few months in the sun, it WILL definitely start deforming, its not as think as the description promise it would be, since i opened it already i wont be returning it, i'll have to get a better one elsewhere.

I'd hoped that these would be the same as another batch of 1020 trays I bought. They're fairly strong, but not exactly what I was looking for. My favorite tray doesn't have a brand name imprinted on the bottom and I'm afraid they may no longer be available. I'm not sure if I should comment on durability of the trays I recently received, since I haven't tested them over time.
