May not be a direct replacement
Not a direct replacement for an incandescent E10 screw lens bulb if size or polarity is an issue.Polarity is +ve at the tip and -ve at the bulb base. In my device, I had to install the batteries with the polarity reversed to get the bulb to work. The size of the base of the bulb's glass head is slightly larger than the incandescent version. I had to file away a bit of the cover fitting to install the bulb.Otherwise, the bulb works fine. Quite bright with 2 AA or AAA batteries. The incandescent version of the bulb is still available on the web (in 2021) if size or polarity is an issue.

Funcionó muy bien para reemplazar focos incandescentes en un microscopio.

Great for price but very volage senseitive
These LED's have a VERY narrow voltage tolerance. If you use 2 NiMH batteries which provide only about 2.4 volts at the most then they will not be very bright. If you use 2 Alkaline batteries that provide approximately 3 volts than they will be fairly bright but some of the LED's will flicker. Testing with a variable power supply it appears that the ideal voltage for these is around 3.1 - 3.3. At this voltage the LED's are very bright and any that flickered at lower voltage do not seem to flicker. Using a voltage higher than about 3.3 volts does not make them brighter and they seem to burn out as you approach 4.5 - 5 volts. The ones I tested lasted about 1 minute at 4.5 volts so these are definitely not usable at 5 volts. So if your use case meets these voltage requirements than these would be a good value.

Good replacements, but you have to understand their limitations.
I used these to replace the 222 bulbs in a head-magnifier. The only trouble was that, unlike incandescent bulbs, these are polarity sensitive. Sleeve or Earth must be negative. I had to rewire the head-magnifier to match the bulbs expectations. Good thing I'm a tech. If you can't do that, or don't know what I'm talking about, you may not be successful in this purchase. However, if you do understand this limitation, you will find these excellent. Also, you can't use them as replacements for the lights in the old hairpin soldering irons.
