Sling was a little hard to get on properly but it is nice and tight when it is in.

I am not familiar with this type of sling.I did however figure it out and also figured it can be put on several different ways that are correct and suit you.

Very nice and rugged.
Ha Ha, do not get overwhelmed with attaching this strap to your Thompson. You can find a very useful video for attaching it on youtube. The snap buckles are very rigid, so you may need an assist from some needle nose pliers, to collapse it enough to install in the rings. Use some tape on the pliers to keep from scratching the metal. Use the video, see the "S" in the strap, and install it correctly. It will serve you very well.

Rivets or Brads pull threw sling ends
This sling is not bad for less than $20 but the first one I received the brads on the buckle pulled out and it was way too short to begin with so I ordered a replacement and got it in a few daysSame thing the brads or rivets that hold the buckle or sling ends on are way too short and not flared out enough to holdI installed some pull or pop rivets threw the brads and this seemed to workHopefully the manufacturer will start installing longer brads to fix this issue
