PurexCrystals In-Wash Fragrance and Scent Booster, Fresh Spring Waters, 39 Ounce

From looking at customer pics, are these supposed to come with a grey/silver pouring spout top to pour crystals into the round cap?

My clothing smells amazing coming out of the washer, but once I dried it all of the scent was removed. Has anyone else had this experience?

What color are the scent beads?

How much of this should I use? There aren't any directions on the label.
