Most buzzbaits have two blades. This one has three, which allow it to start spinning sooner on the retrieve, throw more water, make more noise. The hammered finish is unique and pretty cool too. Suggestion from a guide: Pair it with a frog body soft plastic, something with a white or orange belly, without the skirt.

I've had much more success with the Tri Wing Buzz King than any two blade version. It allows for slower retrieves and produces a very satisfying gurgle as it skims the surface of the water. My best success for largemouth has been with a black/blue version at dusk. I caught my biggest bass ever with it, a 5 1/2 pound fish. I'm not a terribly experienced angler, but this has become my go-to favorite lure. I just wish they were easier to find at retail stores.

Good quality as always with the Strike King brand. Have tried it twice in a few of my Bass "honey holes" and not one bight but will keep trying it.

Well made. Tri-Wing is much better at skimming the water than other buzz lures.

I only use tri-blade buzzbaits. They kick up more water and allow you to retrieve at a slower rate than standard two-blade buzzbaits. I will catch fish on these when those in the boat with me wont catch anything with a standard two-blade.
