Plastic heaven.
Addendum August 2017: Review for "deluxe" model. Only a little fading noticed, hard to tell. Still love the chairs. I drilled two holes in the back cross bracing to accommodate one of those small beach umbrellas that have a point, that you poke in the sand, for each chair. Made the lower hole smaller, so the point of the umbrella doesn't go all the way through, works well.Made a little cut-out in the arm of each chair to hold the stem of a wine glass. I have been leaving them outside, full time, uncovered, but they clean up in the spring. Sprayed some of the pool algae cleaner on them, made them look nice. The are out on the dock in full sun. I should put them away after summer but got a little lazy.Original review: This is what all the good plastic aspires to become when it dies. Seriously heavy duty, very comfortable, can easily handle the large American butt. Note the "deluxe" ones have seven [7] rear slats and maybe slightly heavier. All the used plastic in the world should be made into these chairs and matching tables, there should be large factory ships mining the huge plastic garbage collections in the oceans and spitting these out!OK, they do need a little lumbar support. Also maybe a cut out to hold a wine glass on one side. I have to make something to hold a beer.I have no idea if the color will fade. I expect it will, doesn't matter. They do indeed fold as flat as they come from the box, not perfectly flat, as they are curved. If you can't fold them as flat as they come from the box, you are doing something wrong.

Phat Tommy - a favorite
I love these chairs. They are heavy, so won't blow over in the wind. They are well made and the aqua color is vibrant. Not too much assembly and easy. They came packaged well - there was no damage to either of my two chairs. My only two negative points are: they are a bit pricey, but seem to be the going rate. The shipping took about a week, plus. I would buy this brand again. I had first ordered another brand and the packaging was poor and they had been in an accident (it appeared) and came damaged. The Phat Tommy's have six slats in the back and the other brand only had five. I also found that adding a pillow makes any Adirondack chair more comfortable.

Quality, durable product
Our wooden Adirondack chairs began to rot and fall apart. I decided to get these in the hopes that they will last a long time. They take a little bit of effort to put them together but once you put one together and get the hang of it, the following chairs are much easier to assemble. These chairs are very durable and will hold up for a long time. They are very comfortable too. They don't cut off the circulation in your thighs like our wooden ones did. They work well for short and tall people too. The other nice thing about them is that you'll never have to paint them as the plastic is colored throughout.Note that they are very heavy so they are more difficult to move around when compared to wooden ones. The only drawback is that when in direct sunlight in the summer, these can get hot as they are plastic and depending on the color you get (I got black), it can make it even hotter. Keep them in the shade.I really like these chairs and I recommend them. A good investment.

Very happy with my two chairs!
Just put my two hunter green chairs together and they look great! Assembly was really quite easy. Not a lot to assemble, and if you've ever assembled any furniture before, this will be a snap. No drilling. All the pieces and parts were there, and the color is just as expected. The chairs are big and comfortable. I read before buying that the arms were at an angle (not good for drinks). That's not the case at all. My coffee mug sits flat, with plenty of room. These chairs are just what I hoped--and just as described. Now I just hope they hold up in weather over the years. The recycled material should be just what I need for my uncovered back porch!2016 Update: two years later my chairs still look exactly like they did on day one! The material these chairs are made from really withstands the elements, because my chairs have been outside on the deck for two years now. No fading, warping. Just the same. Quite amazing.

Very Comfortable, Very High Quality!
These chairs are fantastic! Relatively easy to assemble, very comfortable, very well constructed, the color is true to what I expected based on photos online, and it folds making it easier to move. I previously purchased a "large" Adirondack chair from Home Depot made of the same Polywood material but it was still too small. I purchased 2 of these for my pool deck and couldn't be happier. Was a little hesitant due to the price, but no regrets! I've only had them for a couple of months this summer, but they still look brand new and based on the material/quality my guess is they will look that way for years to come. I also bought one matching ottoman and one matching folding table, which are both also fantastic. If you're on the boarderline about buying these or a cheaper chair, go with these.... you'll be happy you did.

Sturdy and Comfortable
I bought three of these (in different colors). They have been sitting out, unprotected, in the hot Florida sun for nearly two years and they still look as good as the day I got them. Plus they're sturdy and comfortable. But, the best thing I love about these chairs is that they're made from recycled material! :-)

No more painting!
After years of painting our wooden adirondack chairs we finally put them to the curb for the dumpster divers! We ordered two of these. We liked them so much we ordered two more. The neighbors are envious and now say they are going to get some like ours! We ordered the teal but I would call them turquoise which is my favorite color. A wonderful feature is that they fold away for winter. These are heavy!

No lock nuts in bag. How complicated is this ...
No lock nuts in bag for chair #1. No holes drilled for arms on chair 2. How complicated is this? Black marks in various spots on both chair from construction. I have purchased these chairs before. No previous problems but quality control has clearly gone south.
