HVAC company wanted to charge me $1,250.00 to install this, I highly recommend this panel!
My HVAC company wanted to charge me $1,250.00 to change my HZ322 to a new HZ322. All you have to do is shut off the power, take a lot of pictures how your old panel is hooked up, and label the wires! It took 45 minutes to swap the panel going slow! All HVAC companies do is buy parts cheap and over charge to put them in knowing it only takes short amounts of time to do so! I highly recommend buying this panel, the inatall is pretty easy, but you must put the proper settings in it that relate to your system beside wiring it correctly for it to work.

Cheap upgrade for the HZ311
I purchased a home that was only six years old. The hvac system was improperly designed and installed. It is a zoned system with a HZ311 controller and a DATS sensor that was installed six inches from the coil (should have been three feet away, but the bypass and first zone were installed immediately after the coil and that was really the only place for it). The HZ311 is not programmable and the system short cycled (five minutes on, then off with a dats fault). I don’t know how the previous owner lived with that in the summer heat! Instead of redoing most of the ducting and moving the dats, I took a shortcut and bought this HZ322 which is programmable. I programmed the dats for 40 degrees as opposed to the set 45 on hz311. HVAC is running perfectly now! The previous owner had over $6k in receipts from repairs to the system that was still under warranty. They got taken for a ride. If you have a hz311 with an improperly installed dats and short cycling, this could be a very inexpensive and easy band-aid as opposed to a redesigned system.

Good Unit
I bought this to replace a 15 year old Honeywell zone controller that stopped working. Since the models had changed considerably, I called Honeywell customer service to figure out exactly which controller I needed. I was immediately connected to a person who quickly answered my question. Outstanding customer service. The seller (Heating & Cooling Parts) was quick, the unit rolled in about 48 hours after I placed the order, on a Sunday no less. Installation was pretty easy. Basically, you unplug the furnace (power to the controller) take the old unit down, mount this board with a couple screws and swap the wires over (take lots of pictures). I did have to extend one pair of wires due to a difference in layout between boards. I also had to program the new board to run two stage heating and cooling along with a couple other minor tweaks. The manual is decent and programming difficulty is about on par with changing the filter run times on a hot tub if you can relate to that. All in all, I was up and running in less than two hours. I saved a considerable amount of money replacing this unit myself; my AC's working again and I'm a happy camper.

Disappointing Experience with Honeywell Truezone Panel
I recently had the displeasure of experiencing firsthand the shortcomings of the Honeywell Truezone Panel, and I must say it was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. After relying on this system for controlling the heating and cooling in my home, I found myself dealing with unnecessary hassles and expenses.First and foremost, the system malfunctioned, leaving me without heat/cold when I needed it the most. I had to endure an entire day of discomfort and inconvenience due to the failure of the Honeywell Truezone Panel. The HVAC technician informed me that a new control board was needed to rectify the issue, causing an additional delay in restoring the functionality of my heating system. As if the inconvenience wasn't enough, the financial burden added insult to injury. Not only did I have to endure a day without heat/cold, but I also had to shell out $250 for the replacement control board. This unexpected expense was an unwelcome surprise and further compounded my dissatisfaction with the Honeywell Truezone Panel.Overall, my experience with the Honeywell Truezone Panel was far from satisfactory. The system's failure resulted in discomfort, inconvenience, and unexpected expenses, making it clear that it falls short of delivering on its promises. As a consumer, I expected a reliable and efficient heating and cooling solution, but unfortunately, the Honeywell Truezone Panel failed to meet even the most basic expectations. I would not recommend this product to anyone seeking a dependable and hassle-free HVAC control system.
