This is a fairly tasty cup of Joe! I am a coffee fiend, errrrr...aficionado, I mean! Anyway, I love coffee. I am a graduate student. It is a required part of the advanced college degree. So, I have tried several roasts available on Amazon. This one is right up there with some of the good ones. This is a nice, smooth Colombian blend, which is a bit less bold than I would normally choose. It has a nice, rich flavor that I appreciated. It is advertised as not giving you the jitters, and this is true. I actually tend to prefer a bit more caffeine content in mine, so dang it, I have to drink two cups instead of just one. I actually do not mind, as it is tasty. I need no additives in the coffee for a nice flavor profile, which is a testament to the roasting methods. Some coffees, even light blends, have a burned taste (looking at you, Starbucks!). These roasters have avoided the burned flavor, so they did not over roast the beans. It is also advertised as low acidity, and I have no evidence of the contrary. Along with my grad student caffeine habit, I also have the grad student stomach problems, like heartburn at the sight of my dissertation adviser. This coffee did not cause me to have any heartburn or upset stomach, which is a minor miracle.I use a Jura Capresso super automatica machine to make my coffee. It grinds up the beans to my specifications and automatically brews the type of coffee I have asked for, such as an espresso or a full cup of coffee. So, I have tried this as both an espresso and a cup of coffee. I actually kind of loved the espresso. It was a rich tasting shot that was just the perfect amount of caffeine for an afternoon coffee. So, if you have the capability to make an espresso with these beans, I recommend that. Particularly if you want the espresso shot, but do not want to be up all night from over caffeinating.I did receive this product at a modest discount in exchange for my honest review; HOWEVER, I did not receive this for free and I paid some of my hard earned cash for this coffee. I was under no obligation to leave a positive review, and the views expressed are my own.

The positives: terrific flavor. It makes a rich cup of Joe without bitterness, and with a variety of flavor notes, and not at all "burnt."The negatives: I was searching for 2-pound packages of roasted beans and bought this and another brand. It's my fault for not taking a magnifying glass to my computer monitor and seeing that this is a 12 0z. package. Then again, maybe it's not my fault. Amazon listed this as 2 pounds, and the seller didn't even name the weight! Bottom line--at an effective 20 bucks per pound, this is ridiculously expensive.One other thing--the maker's website does not list it as one of their blends. Curious.

Exceptional quality products. I order often from these wonderful people. The packaging is better than any I have ever seen and I order a LOT of things on the internet each month. The coffee quality is simply outstanding--and I am a real fanatic for coffee taste, smell and how it renders by French Press every morning. People who visit my home or my offices are always treated to the best. This is such a company and product. Thanks!

This coffee is delicious - I used it in the new Stainless Steel coffee press which I also just purchased from Amazon. The coffee beans are roasted in the US and are USDA certified organic - which is important to me, especially since I drink coffee every day. I will be ordering from Homestead Coffee Roasters company again!!

Excellent, low acid, high grade coffee at an amazing price when you buy in multiples. Tried it in a local coffee house and loved it so started ordering it for home.

Arrived quickly and was fresh! I ground the beans and had a very delicious cup of coffee. Used it in a French press. Medium grind. Addictive!

At first I thought the wrong product was sent to me. I then realized that the packaging changed. As always, this is the best coffee I can find. I'm known for serving the best coffee and it's all because of this blend. Thanks

no acidic notes or bitter aftertaste, but rather bland
