This type of nozzle is way better than most switchable pattern nozzles. To control the strength of the stream, just turn the water on slower or faster. Easiest way to do this is to add a valve right before this on the end of your hose, available on Amazon for under $5. This also let's you easily switch out whatever nozzle you want on the end of your hose without returning to the faucet. You can twist this nozzle from totally off, then to a fine mist, then powerful stream, then gentle, slow flutter of water. Once you find a flow that you like, it stays there without having to squeeze a handle. If you really want a patterned apray nozzle, then that is what you should get. If you're adventurous and open to new discoveries, give this a try.

Q: This is a great nozzle but the head unscrews from the body! Then it leaks and does not operate properly. Any suggestions?

I purchased several of these nozzles and have had no problem with them. I think you got a defective one. I would ask to exchange.

No, it fits a normal size garden hose.

I didn't know what to say about that but my problem is leaking I might have to change the washer. If I was you ill take it to a hardware store and ask them
