Really excellent product! I can straighten, curl, flip, it's awesome. Heats up fast and there are protective edges to prevent burns.

OK I WROTE A BOOK ABOUT MY OTHER NEW BABYLISS STRAIGHTENER AS I STATED ON MY OTHER REVIEW RECENTLY GOT BOMB HAIR CUT AND I WAS TIRED OF MY FLAT IRON THAT DID NOT REALLY GET MY HAIR STRAIGHT EVEN AFTER HAVING TO GO THROUGH SEVERAL TIMES YUCK. TEXTED STYLIST AFTER BUYING 2 OTHER WHACK FLAT IRONS ONE FROM SALLY'S AND SUPER WHACK ONE FROM TARGET. BOTH TAKEN BACK IMMEDIATELY. AFTER GOING OVER MY HAIR WITH MY NEW NANO PRO STRAIGHT FLAT 1 1/2 IN I WENT OVER MY HAIR WITH THIS ONE OMG IT WAS AMAZING BECAUSE IT MADE AN AMAZING BUMP LIKE I WOULD ALWAYS TRY TO GET FROM THE REGULAR STRAIGHT FLAT IRON I AM SUPER EXCITED AND HAPPY THAT I BOUGHT BOTH OF THESE. I GOT BOTH TO SEE WHICH ONE I LIKED AND WAS PLANNING TO SEND THE OTHER BACK SITTING UP LOOKING FABULOUS AND DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO WASH MY HAIR MADE MY HAIR LOOK LIKE NEW WHEN I USED BOTH. MY HAIR HAD BEEN WASHED ABOUT 4 DAYS AGO AND I WANTED TO WASH IT BECAUSE FIGURED MAYBE BUILD UP AND PRODUCT WOULD NOT GIVE ME A GOOD RESULT BUT UM UM I LOOK LIKE I JUST WALKED OUT OF THE SALON AND I DID NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH A WHOLE BUNCH OF TIMES NOR DID I HAVE TO PICK UP SECTIONS I WAS ABLE TO PICK UP ALL OF THE HAIR AND IT WAS AMAZING SHINY AND PURRRRTY YAYYYYY PEOPLE CAN YOU TELL I AM SOOOO HAPPPY THAT I NO LONGER HAVE TO SEARCH FOR THE PERFECT FLAT IRONS I GOT TWO TODAY AND I AM FEELING REAL GOOD.

My wife is a professional stylist. She is very impressed with this. It is far superior to her previous flat iron. She has problems with her hair getting kinky and unruly. This tames it well. She has thick hair, so this might not be good for thin, fine hair. But, if you have problems with thick, kinky hair, give this a try!

there's a learning curve but after that, it works really well!

I bought this after having my hairstylist use it on me and get great results. My hair is kind of stubborn and I have trouble getting a nice curl to stay more than an hour or so. The C Styler has a bit of a learning curve (it took me two or three uses to get the hang of it and the motion I needed to make to get a good curl), but it makes wonderful wavy curls that LAST. Usually, with curling irons, I'm lucky if I can get a curl to last even a few hours, but with the C Styler, the curls easily last all day long and into the next. I generally curl one day, then sleep on them and can wear them again the next day. By the third day, it's not so much curly as just a soft wave, but even that looks nice! I also love that the curls are soft and touchable, unlike my curling iron curls which are kind of crispy and 'hard' and will go straight if they are touched. I'm very happy with it and would definitely recommend it, especially if you don't get good results from a curling iron.
