Q: Is this pump 6 volt or 12 volt (part number 60430 by Carter)?

Oscar, I remember now! It will work on six or twelve volts but will only pump 3 psi on six volts rather than 6psi on twelve volts. I chose this pump because I didn't want a pump that did more than 3 psi so it wouldn't overwhelm the float valve in the carburetor.

P60430 is rated at 4-6 PSI. If you need the same type of pump rated for 2-4 PSI, you will need part number P60504.

Yes to pumping diesel fuel. It is also sold as a replacement in-line pump for the 1981-86 Chevette Diesel and the 1981-82 Chevy LUV Diesel. GM Specifications are a free flow rate of 30 gph and a maximum pressure of 6 psi. It is not self-priming and has to mounted below the tank bottom. It comes with 3/8" barb hose fittings.
