i'd like to see an even longer lasting yet one of substantially lighter weight alternative but as far as I know, at present, 'the grabber' heat packs are at the top of such products...does pretty much what it's made for and as advertised....you absolutely should have [on an annual rotation] at least a couple of these heat packs in your so-called 'bug out bag'...or any backpack/pack you might keep ready packed for any outdoor excursion...i'd combine it with a couple of mylar space blankets or better yet a mylar emergency 'sleeping bag'...that should come very helpful in an emergency should one find oneself stranded outdoors over night unexpectedly...

Nothing worse than a stinging and aching hand because you just swung a club in 35 degree weather. And yes, I might be deemed slightly crazy for golfing in such insane weather but between these and my Mizuno Winter golf glove, you don't even notice the cold.These little babies come in a pack of two (one for each hand) and you simply place them on you and they stay hot for hours and hours (literally, like 12 hours). They're not so hot that they will burn or become uncomfortable, I simply put my glove over each hand with the warmer in place and I stay toasty all afternoon long.They also make body and feet warmers which work the same way and are just as effective. If you're out in the cold, be it walking, working, or playing - these are a must.

I'm so disgusted with myself, mostly. I bought a few different versions of this product in a local pharmacy to test them out (after receiving the recommendation from my Rolfer). After being delighted by the BodiHeat model and the stick-on model of this brand, I bought this box of these. They have NO adhesive! My work uniform doesn't have pockets, so I have no way of using these. I need them for work, I stand on concrete for 8 hours and have terrible pain and muscle cramps in my hips. So disappointed.

So I use these for a pretty unique purpose. I'm a Massage Therapist and I use this as a neck heating pad during Chair Massage. This is a weekly gig for me so I depend on repeat clients. This really helps to add to the pampering and just adds that extra Oomph to keep them coming back. Because the pad stays hot for sooo long, I only need one per day of Chair Massaging. I cover it with a fresh paper towel for every client.

These are really affective for 12+ hours. My horse needed treatment during the cold winter months while he was healing in a stall in the stable. I had to keep him warm by changing body warmers throughout the days. and nights The size and consistent duration of this warmth saved me hours of work and the horse was fully healed by the saving of energy that would be used to maintain body warmth in a Colorado winter.

These work great for camping. Just put a couple in the bottom of the sleeping bag and let them warm it up before bed. They take awhile to heat up so open them about an hour before you need them though.

My hands are always cold and I was hoping that this would give me some help with this problem. it's warmth is not very much at all. But I will add that it does stay luke warm for a long time.

These are wonderful for camping. I throw a couple in my bed at night and stay toasty all night long. BUT BUYER BEWARE, if you thought you had clicked on and ordered a 24 pack and it had stayed on one pack without notice you are paying $6.40 plus tax and shipping on ONE warmer being a total rip off.

Used it for Everest base camp trek. Was very useful

Did not receive a lot of 30 warmers but a single warmer with a cozy hand muff that turned on to be very comfy. I think that the error came from the french translation on the Amazon site.
