Hillman 847212 1-Inch Die-Cut Letters/Numbers Kit, Black

I liked the size and they were easy to apply. I needed more vowels and i bought 2 packs.

I used these letters to put my house address on my back garage.The letters came off the backing without a problem. If you get one which “sticks”, I suggest peeling the backing away, leaving the letters standing alone. That way, if there is stretching, it will be the waste material that gets damaged.I then stuck the letters on the slick board which comes with the kit and painted them with latex exterior paint to match the trim color on my house. They peeled away from the backing board trouble free, painted.Perfect!

Because of the narrow font, these were a bit more difficult to apply smoothly. And because I was using on wooden blocks displayed on a high shelf, they didn't show well. Was spelling out "Welcome Friends" and needed bolder font. May use the extras for something not on a high shelf!

Easy to apply to my metal sign. They stuck very well. They are very readable. They were the perfect size for my sign .

I have order this product two times. The first one was cut correctly. The letters and numbers we easy to remove from the paper. The second one was almost impossible to remove with out distorting the letters. The die cut was off just a bit.I am ordering another set because I ruined the second set.Hopefully the new ones will be better.

What can I say? They are numbers, they stick to the surfaces well, they can be read and they do what they are supposed to do (which is what I just wrote). I only needed a few of the numbers, so won't be using the rest -- or will, you never know when something like this will come handy. Five stars.

Needed numbers for latern address, not Amazon's fault, I don't know what I am doing. I think I will order same thing in bigger letter font. Otherwise it's perfect, didn't want sticker that had any outline white so the light can shine through. Perfect. Will put remainder in my classroom Art supplies.

I put it on our mail box. It did the job.
