I purchased color 4R and it is an absolute perfect match. I use it before i have a quarter inch of grey just on the places that are super obvioius and i can get three applications from one bottle. By the time i put the color on all the grey roots it is time to wash it out and i just love this stuff. My hairdresser does not love it so much (i don't have to go to the salon as often) so to make him happy sometimes i just bring it into the salon and he puts it on my roots and actually does a much more thorough job than i but super happy that i can stock up. Yippppeeee

I purchased this product after researching, then I watched a you tube demo from all different hair types. I was a little skeptical but when I put it on my processed hair, which already had color and highlights it worked amazingly well. Being alone and trying to put it on all my roots was a little hard. I did not want to put it only on my natural part, but all over my scalp so I had to look in the mirror and try to see what I was doing. I have a LOT of hair so had to try to section. I ended up just putting a lot more of the dye on the applicator and then massaging it through the area I was trying to cover as well as the small amount of greys by my ears. If I got any dye on my skin I wiped it off right away. I waited 8 or 9 minutes just to be sure, then rinsed in the bathtub which was kind of messy but I managed. I had washed and conditioned my hair 24 hours before applying so did not wash my hair until 3 days went by. I also have Redkin shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair, so I made sure I used those for washing. I purchased the medium auburn reddish brown. It worked extremely well and I'm going to wash my hair for the second time today. I make sure to not wash my hair for two to three days at a time so the color will last longer. In looking at my sectioning, I did miss some areas so will have to apply later on when I can. There is enough product to use at least three times so I'm very satisfied. The shade matched very well as I've always had auburn or other forms of red. With the pandemic and not being able to get either a cut or color I think this is a great alternative.

This is about the easiest and longest lasting root touch up I have ever used. I'm a fan. A couple of lessons-learned to share, though.1. This stuff is no joke. When they say five minute processing time, they mean it. The first time I did it I worked front to back and then let it sit for a few minutes over the five minute processing time and my roots we shockingly dark. I recommend working from the back of your head to the front so that the most visible roots get less processing time. Then once you are done "painting" stick to the recommended five minute processing and rinse. There's no need to allow extra time with this product.2. Use the petroleum jelly around your hairline as recommended. Again, this stuff is no joke. (If you do get it on your skin, I found alcohol on a makeup pad takes it off, but it takes some scrubbing.)3. I would say this stuff is a little more intense than most. I used the medium auburn reddish brown and even with a brief processing time, it's pretty dark. For sure darker than indicated on the box.If you know these things going in and can plan for it, it's a great covering, long lasting product. And so, so easy to use. Love the pump, love the brush, live that it's multiple uses. Great to extend the length of time between salon appointments.

I have the hardest time finding this but I would go to the ends of the Earth for it. Without a doubt, the best touch up available. Easy as it gets, and it lasts and lasts and lasts. It can be easy to miss a few hairs or spots and if you use a one and done box, you have to go out and get another box and go through the whole mess. With this, a simple squeeze into the lid, mix color, apply where you need it and in 10 mins or less, shower and done. Worth its weight in gold. Great color matching too!

I have been using this product for a long time in between professional coloring to touch up my roots, its simple, easy and does the job well. The color blends nicely, almost undetectable except for what its ment to accomplish.
