UPDATE: In less than 6 weeks it will be 3 years since I bought these pruners and all I can say is these are the best I've ever had! They still have a reasonable edge after working these till my hand and arm were wore out on more occasions than I can remember! Just went to file the razor edge they came with back on and my slightly worn file wouldn't touch the edge! I was surprised the blade was that hard !! No wonder they still have a reasonable edge still on them!Will have to use a stone to get it back to a razor edge when I get the chance. Just HAD to do an update to let everyone know these ARE DEFINITELY WORTH THE PRICE!!Nice to know you can still buy quality instead of CHINESE GARBAGE!____________________________________________________________________________________________These hand pruners are the best I've used in a long time ! I've cut up to 3/4" with no problem. Very sharp. For what it's worth....I took the advise of another reviewer and put Lock Tight on the screws before using since I lost screws on a different type (different maker) before. Just a precaution. Anyway....GREAT PRUNERS and well worth the price !

Slightly too large for my small hands but the blade is sharp and strong; the quality superb.

I’ve looked for a long time for a replacement for my favorite anvil pruner, which is no longer available. This one does the job.
