What do I do with all my other jackets
I have been on the search for the perfect winter huntin/ fishing/ fowl weather jacket for over 20 years and have spent way too much money trying to find the holy grail. Most jackets either don't breath, are too heavy especially when wet or I sweat to death in them. The Stormr Stryker Jacket has been a perfect match for my uses. I bought it for a guided 3 day steely trip down the Deschutes river. We had 60mph gusts and at least 40 mph sustained winds with rain most of the trip (epic) and I will say had I not had the Stormr Stryker it would have been a miserable trip. Fact is I was very comfortable the entire time. Warm and dry catching fish. Our guide was awesome and he loved the jacket. Wading in any river always adds a bit of stress but knowing I had an extra bit of flotation in the jacket (5lbs according to website, not a replacement for approved flotation devices) gave me an extra bit of confidence. When I got home my friends were surprised that we even stayed on the river with weather that bad. The next chance I had to wear the jacket was my wife and I's 4 mile walk one evening. It was 36 degrees, windy with lite rain/sleet. She didn't want to go but I convinced her (she didn't know I had a secret weapon against the weather). As we walked she got really cold. I let her wear my Stormr and she instantly fell in love with it. Warm and dry even though we were walking briskly. She did eventually get hot because she had too many layers on underneath. A long sleeve T under the jacket would have been enough while moving. It does not wear heavy and fits true to size. I am 6'3 220lbs and the extra large was perfect. I ordered my wife the Typhoon which will be delivered today! Now I have to figure out what to do with all these other coats.

Great so Far
I'm giving these a 5 start for now because I've only used them in mildly cold (40 degree) weather.I'll be interested to see how they fair in really cold weather. Personally I find these to be easier to wear than the Pro Qualifiers I replaced. There is no doubt they are warmer, more durable, and MUCH higher quality. I have worn these in very heavy downpours and they excelled. Very very dry. I like that I can actually hear my partner when its raining. In my other gear when my partner would talk I couldn't hear because the rain hitting the hood was so loud. I'm guessing that it wont be long before these become the gold standard above Simms, 100mph, and Cabela's guide wear.

My favorite jacket
I bought this primarily for fishing but it has become my favorite foul weather jacket. Warmth without bulk. Stay dry without sweating to death. Love the look, the pockets and the closures. Keep in mind they run a little big so think about going down if you feel like you are normally between sizes

Awful
Zero stars. This jacket is made for guys who sip coffee while they fish. I wore it (with very high hopes) for a commercial cod season out of Chignik, Alaska in February. I could tell within half an hour that the jacket was crap. The black part of the coat is not waterproof. After ten minutes on the rail my stomach was soaking wet. And despite what they claim, the jacket soaks up water like a sponge. after a burst of rain the coat was so heavy i had to change back into my old Grundens. I never went back. I'm sure its a great buy if you are ice fishing in a tent or something. It was warm, but it is not made for a commercial deck. In fact, if you're thinking of ordering this junk, ill send you mine for free. Its a medium.

Excellent coat!
Bought this for my husband who’s loves to fish a lot. He absolutely loves this! It fits perfectly with great stretch and warmth without the bulk. Can’t say enough good things about this. Highly recommend it!

Way larger than a size L should be
The Jacket looks like a great product, except they run WAY larger than the designated size. Also, shipping is absurdly slow. I've been trying to get the right sized jacket for several months!

I returned mine because it is built more like a wet suit than a jacket
I returned mine because it is built more like a wet suit than a jacket. I'm sure it is warm {maybe too warm} and definitely waterproof but for me it wasn't comfortable and didn't feel it appropriate for my need which is salmon fishing in the north west pacific. It is built like a tank and maybe more suitable for Americas cup racing.
