Copy?
This is not the quality you would expect , seems a copy , brand is not correctly printed and Velcro tape is far from durable

This thing is a joke
It's tiny, like a shrunk down toy version of a winch line dampener. It doesn't include any weights. The pockets for weights have no closures on them so all the weights would fall out if the winch line ever broke. Frankly, the members of my Jeep club would laugh at me if I pulled this thing out and put it on my winch line.Buy the ARB winch line dampener. It's big, it is already weighted, and its pockets for additional weights have closures. Ignore this joke.

Better then hanging your floor mat over the line.
Better then hanging your floor mat over the line. But by no means does it make me feel safe. It's small and light. Looks good and has pockets to put sand, rocks or weight in. But that said for less then $20 what do you expect? Would I buy it again? Probably not, I would spend a little more money and get a upgrade. If you are looking for a small dampener for your ATV then this is good to go. You can always use it as a bib, or a dog cover. 1995wrangler

Extremely light-weight
Not even sure if this is really a Rugged Ridge product; the logo is screened on the one side, but it's reflected as if seen in a mirror. Clearly only the best Chinese quality control. The product itself weights about an ounce or two - while it is a bright orange and has reflective strips on it, I think you'll get better line dampening from a wet kleenex. It does beat the kleenex method from a visibility perspective though - very visible, poorly screened lightweight waste of money.

wothless junk
I ordered this assuming that the winch line dampener had some weight built into it... after waiting over a month for my product to arrive after ordering, I find that it's nothing more than some poorly constructed orange cloth with a pocket sewn onto one side. The stitching is falling out and I haven't even used it yet. Velcro bits around the black trim are falling off and pointless. A warning label on the back side of the product states that it should be loaded with a minimum of 5 lbs, but to be honest I have no clue what you would put in the small pockets to get it weighing anything close to 5 lbs.total waste of money.

They aren't bad. Just small
I was not sure what to expect, but I expected something much larger. You'll need to add 5+ lbs. of weight (which is sketchy) in rocks or something to keep them heavy enough to really work. We'll see. Hopefully I won't need them but if I do I'll have them. Sort of my mantra, have it and don't need it, I'm good. Need it and not have it, now you're up a creek.
