Only fulfills its basic function: holding ashes
It is legitimately a good ashtray. As long as you aren’t expecting anything else. We thought that maybe we just needed more practice with the lighter part, but at this point, we’re over it. Sparks fly everyplace and if it does light, then the little well of fuel will likely be burning too. We were actually better at setting the well of fuel ablaze than the actual lighter.Sometimes we lit the lighter stick from the burning fuel well. But then the flame was huge. They include instructions for pulling out more wick when it burned too low, but that did not seem to be our problem.It’s possible that these ashtrays were made by someone in the fire extinguisher business trying to create more sales for their primary business.Also, minor detail, but this kinda irritated me: I picked this item from many similar offerings from competitors because their photos show clean cigarette holder divots. Most competitors have little screws holding them in place. These definitely also have the visible screws; don’t believe their lies.
