Good table, not so good manual!
TIP: For everyone else who has this desk: the manual doesn't mention this and I discovered this feature by accident but if you QUICKLY tap the number key (1,2,3) 3 times in a row the table will go to the position by itself so you DON'T HAVE TO HOLD DOWN THE BUTTON and wait for the table to get to position. If this is helpful, please tap the "helpful" button for this review so people buying the table can save some headache. The review for the 48'' Black frame/Walnut top:To start, everything has been meticulously packaged. Honestly, it's a small thing but I can say this is one of the most protected and well packaged product I have received. Good to know that it can survive some abuse from the shipping process. The installation is not hard but does require a bit of patience as there are quite a few screws you have to put in. I used a electric drill so it was a breeze. Make sure you keep track of the orientation of the table on the manual as they switch this up a few times. The easiest way to do this is to make sure the holes on the table top align with the holes in the frame when you join them together, I messed up this step and had to unscrew everything. Other than that, there weren't any issues with installation. All the holes are big enough and lined up perfectly with the pilot holes on the table top.Build quality is good. There was a little nick on the edge of the table that came from the factory but I am not too bothered by it although some may be put off by this. In fact, I think it adds to the rustic/industrial look. The table is sturdy at the lowest setting and although I expected it to bend more at its highest setting, it actually is surprisingly stiff, likely due to the thick steel beams they use for the legs. The manual is not great at explaining all the features and one glaring thing that's missing is the ability to move your table to a memorized height without needing to hold down the position button. The manual says you have to hold down a number key (1,2,3) in order to move the table. However, if you quickly click the number button 3 times, the table actually moves to the memorized position without you needing to hold down the button the entire time. I will send them an email to see if they can add this to the manual.Regarding longevity, I've read some other reviews here that claim the desk doesn't last very long. As an electrical engineer I believe the control unit is probably the culprit here. If I experience any issues with it I will be sure to update this review, if there are no updates then the desk is still working!Overall, I would recommend this desk. It does everything it claims and is sturdy and fairly easy to put together.

Poor quality
Very poor quality and not as pictured. Desk consists of 2 beat up boards held together with wood dowels. Electronic part hangs down because the holes drilled do not fit the nails provided. The electric up and down function is also error-prone- most of the time I get an error message and cannot raise the desk after lowering it, so I usually just keep it at one height, which defeats the purpose of this desk. I thought I was buying the nice desk in the photo but received junk.

Customer service was great.
I was so excited to get this desk. But a few things really just made me mad. 1. Many of the pre drilled holes were bigger than they needed to be. This caused the hardware not to fit correctly. I had to go buy wood glue to fill the holes and will have to redrill them myself when it dries. 2.the little wood pegs that hold the top together were cut wrong. Almost like whomever was working that day was drunk. I went to IKEA and got some from their parts wall. 3. The pictures makes it look like the desk won’t have a seam. It DEFINITELY will and it will be very noticeable. Not what I was looking for. Honestly if I could return it I would but it’s so heavy to put back in the box and ship back my only real option is to write a review and be mad that I bought a piece of furniture form Amazon that isn’t as advertised. That gap between the two pieces of the table top is really REALLY noticeable.UpdateCustomer service reached out to me and made the situation much better. I appreciate their quick response.

Works, but not well. Frustrated that it doesn't work as well as it should. UPDATED 12/29/2020
UPDATE: Famisky contacted me and offered me a replacement. The new desk works as it should. I think that I had a defective contol box that limited the functionality of the desk. I have increased my rating to 4 stars. It works well, there are better desks out there, but this one is decent enough for the cost.Assembly was pretty straight forward. Operation is easy. However, once you initialize the controller and then it goes to sleep, it won't change height without resetting the controller and then it shows a E04 error code. The process in the manual for initializing the controller doesn't work in this situation ( pressing both up and down arrows simultaneously). You have to unplug one of the motors from the control box and attempt to initialize. Then it shows a E01 code. Now you have to plug the motor back in and try initializing one more time, which if you are lucky, it will succeed. So pretty much, you have to set it to one height and leave it that way for a while. It's so hard to go through the process to fix this bug and change the height. Very, very, very frustrating! Especially for a desk that is over $200. I could have bought a fixed height desk for a quarter of the price.

It works... Kinda
I've had the desk for 3 months now and I work from home for 8-11 hours a day. I wanted a decent stand-up desk and this one worked great for the first month. But now... Every time the desk gets to a preset spot, I get another E04 error and have to reset the desk and the positions again.... Now I'm getting an E01 error and it's stuck in a standing position. If you don't need the desk to move up and down throughout the day, then you'll manage with this desk. If you want a desk that works consistently, then I'd look for a better quality product.
