A+++ choice for tanakh
The book obviously is not pocket size and is really very thick like dictionary, but the way of presentation is good and on the whole the book is excellent. Plz. See that the book starts from the back and not fron the front, i.e. book opens from the left and not from the right hand side.

Admirable Hebrew edition & English translation. Legible typeface. Not quite as compact as desirable.
This compact edition of the Koren Jerusalem Tanakh shares all the advantages of the standard-size Koren Hebrew-English Tanakh (ISBN-13: 9789653017214), such as a Hebrew text which incorporates the corrections proposed by the Masoretes; an accurate English translation on the facing page for those whose Hebrew is rusty or elementary, which draws on the heritage of English translations going back to the Authorised Version of King James, but is not slavish in adhering to incorrect or prejudiced readings; and, finally, some useful appendices and maps.The typeface in this compact edition, moreover, is much more easily legible than that of the three-volume 'pocket' edition (ISBN-13: 9789653010567), which has such small print that it strains the eyes to try to read it. The compact edition shares with the 'pocket' edition, however, the great advantage of being, as described, "compact", being of a similar height to the volumes of the Loeb Classical Library. Nonetheless, the thickness of the spine (7 cm) does not make it as easily portable as desirable for those who want both a portable and legible Hebrew and English Tanakh for travel or carrying in one's bag for daily use. Would Koren Publishers please consider printing an edition on India paper, which would reduce the thickness of the spine by about a third and make this excellent Tanakh truly compact and portable.

Its the bible.
How do you review one of the greatest stories of all time. You are either a believer or you are not. You will find the answers to questions you have or you won't.The bible itself is neatly set out with the Hebrew on one side and the English translation on the opposite page. It is not the King James bible, it is older and hopefully less messed with.

Trying to get closer to G-d, (Idea being: replace TV, with some enriching Torah): So far, so good!
Honestly, treated myself to this as H/brew on rusty side, (this has realistic/meaningful translations & Lords Language both) and as a normally, completely self-absorbed selfish father of four, I have become aware that I have been remiss in personal practice; more so in not regularly encouraging/discussing/explaining insight to the kids. Also have a granddaughter. Hopeful that as they notice me studying Torah they might be so inclined, if not immediately, over time. This Palm-sized, beautifully designed and lovingly created, hard-back tome is just the right fit! Easy to pick up, hold and read: Very Grateful, Very Pleased, Very Great Bargain - I am very thankful for this authentic, genuine and fair, honest, valuable life-enhancing transaction. I wish you all the good and prosperity you deserve for creating such a high-quality, well-priced, wonderful book for scrolling through scripture. Brilliant! Sincerest Thanks - MLC

Print not easy to read
Firstly I would say that I'd love to have the opportunity to read this translation, be it kindle or in a different print format. But this is too small in terms of font and feels very cluttered to read. The paper is also very thin meaning text shows through easily making it feel even more cluttered and difficult to read. But if you can deal with these aspects then I'd recommend it.

Best I’ve had
As it said, I’ve had no issue with the quality. I like it’s hebriac rendering of names but would rather see Elohim instead of god and at least Adonai/Hashem instead of the lord for a Tanakh. Also for those concerned about thickness, if you can hold it with one hand so can you read it alothough it’s very thick.
