Very reflective.. don't be fooled by the image.
Yes, this is very reflective and is great for safety at night.You may look at the product image and assume such a huge roll would last forever - don't be fooled. Read the description, you are only getting 12 feet - the roll in the product photo would more likely be 60 feet or so. Attached is an image of what you actually get.

Great reflection. Okay stick as long as you get your surfaces very clean. The stickiness is a disappointment coming from 3M

This Is the One - Trust 3M
Don't waste your money on other tapes. I've used six other brands of reflective tape and this is the best. It's brighter and remains permanently fixed on cloth and irregular surfaces like dog leases or wrapped around a 1/4" dowel without unpeeling. It has a nice tackiness and a small amount of stretch which allows you to lightly place it in the desired location and then move it if it's not exactly right. It's SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) so it's Coast Guard approved for marine use. I got it for my fishing kayak but have yet to expose it to enough sun and wet to give a reliability report but feel pretty confident in it's ultimate surface adherence. It's pricey but no more so than an equivalent length and width of Reflexlite REF-DB V92 tape which was greatly inferior.

Is it 3M?
Doesn't come in a roll as described. Rather comes rolled up. Stamped with SOLAS but not 3M. Hence I'm not convinced this is actually 3M SOLAS. If I am paying a premium price for a roll of 3M tape, I do expect a roll with 3M markings on it otherwise I might as while buy any generic clone. This is a safety issue for the consumer. SAFETY OF LIFE AT SEA (SOLAS) hence I want to be convinced ....and I'm not.

I'm a snowcat operator so I use this to mark reference points on trails so you can see them a little further away while grooming at night. All I have to say is wow. This stuff is so bright when looking for it it's amazing. The only down side I have come across is the colder it is the harder it is to get it to stick to the things you want

I am well pleased with my purchase
I needed this to meet DOT standards for reflective tape on the rear of my sleeper. I am well pleased with my purchase, it is highly reflective and is very sticky.

Excellent applicacion. Very strong. Easy to trim.
Strong tape with very stron adhesive. Easy to trim. Extremely reflective. I used it on my motorcycle. To enhance lateral visibility. Excellent application.
