Product Description:NightLock: Our largest absorbency area ever helps lock away leaks, even overnight.Locks away wetness better than our leading competitor's comparable diaperMoney-Back Guaranteewe'll refund your money if you're not satisfied.Luvs Ultra Leakguards Diapers.I know it may be a lot, but you really need to read through this Q&A from the company to understand their product at it's best:Do you have tips to improve absorbency and prevent leaks?Choosing the right diaper is key to improving absorbency and preventing leaks. The weight chart on the package is a good place to start, but you should also consider your baby's age, what she eats and drinks, and how much she moves around. If your child's close to the end of the weight range on the chart, she might need the next size now. Even babies within the weight range can outgrow the absorbency before they outgrow the fit. And for leaks at night, try the next size up for overnight use only. Luvs Diapers feature NightLock. They're ultra absorbent and have larger tabs to help stop leaks. How can I prevent bowel movement leaks?Bowel movement leakage is a very difficult situation. Because stool is not totally liquid, like urine, it doesn't get absorbed into the padding the same way urine does. With the right size, we're sure our diaper's absorbent padding, leg leak barriers, and snug fit will help keep your baby dry, day and night. If your baby consistently has this experience, it might be time to move into the next size diaper for added absorbency and protection. Babies can outgrow the absorbency and protection level of a diaper before they outgrow the fit. The weight ranges on our packages overlap and are only meant to be guidelines. Other things to consider include:—baby's age—eating and drinking habits—mobility—stool consistency—baby's build (for example, a slim child might fit into Size 3 but need the added protection of Size 4)How do I choose the right size diaper?Just like you, babies like to wear things that fit just right. The weight ranges on our packages overlap and are only meant to be guidelines for best diaper fit. Choose a size that does not sag or gap, even as your baby crawls and plays. This will help prevent leaks. How many diapers of each size will my baby need? There are a lot of factors that determine how many of each size diaper your baby will need. Each baby's weight, shape, size, and growth rate are unique. You'd be the best judge according to your baby's needs. Why did Luvs make changes to their product design?Even when you're using a great, reliable diaper, sometimes diaper duty isn't the most pleasant task to undertake. That's why we're always searching for ways to enhance the diaper-changing experience for parents—and their children! After listening to our customers, we've simply replaced our current diaper's backsheet with an adorable, new monkey image—a look that parents surveyed preferred three to one over our current designs and that aims to enhance the diaper-changing experience. The upgrade is purely aesthetic and will not compromise the performance, quality, or value parents expect from the Luvs brand. What is the grainy/gel like stuff in diapers? We use absorbent gelling material (AGM) in the padding of our diapers to absorb wetness. This material has a long history of safe use in a variety of products and has been in Pampers and Luvs diapers for more than two decades. Absorbent gelling material is closely related to ingredients widely used in cosmetics and food processing. When added to our diapers, the AGM is dry and granular, but it forms a gel as it absorbs liquid. It's perfectly normal to see some gel on the skin from time to time, especially if the diaper is heavily saturated. It might help to know the Institute for Polyacrylate Absorbents has researched the safety of consumer products containing absorbent gels and found them to be safe.Do your diapers contain dioxin? Our suppliers use elemental chlorine-free processes that do not result in the formation of dioxin. The methods we use to analyze for dioxin are the most advanced government-approved testing methods available and can detect even minute amounts of dioxin, if present.Purification of the pulp fibers used to make Pampers and Luvs is done to eliminate the impurities that would inhibit our ability to make clean absorbent fibers. By cleaning the fibers in this manner, we can make a better performing product with fewer raw materials, which has clear benefits for the environment. Whitening the fibers is a result of this process but is not its goal.Do any of your baby products contain latex? The safety of our products is important to us, and we understand your concerns about latex allergy. We're pleased to reassure you that we've been using spandex elastic instead of natural rubber latex in all Pampers and Luvs diapers, wipes, and training pants since August 1998.Can I get more information about your Luvs Ultra Leakguard Guarantee?Luvs works great on leaks. better diapers better price.
Better diapers better price. Since switching to luvs we have saved lots of money and had way less blowouts (unexpected, but seriously).Update:One issue we have had with the last 2 sets of these is that on overnight use we have about 1-2 per week that the seams burst and the little beads go EVERYWHERE and are darn near impossible to clean up. The issue may just be that now that our twins are getting older they are going more at night, but they are still well within the weight range at 18 and 20 lbs.Because we ran out before our new shipment arrived we purchased a box of the "Supreme"/ Kirkland Costco brand, and I think that the weight range is more true on those, these diapers are getting very tight on our 18-20 lb babies, and they are supposed to last until 28? anyway the Kirkland brand ones have more of a noticeable variation of what they can handle, and they fit just right on the kids.I have upgraded to the size 4 going forward even though the kids will be a bit small for those, but we will see how they go. But again there is no way these go up to 28lbs!I am still giving them a good review because of the price and value

Like A Good Pair of Jeans, Sometimes It Takes Trying a Few Brands Before Finding Just the Right Fit!
Admittedly, I've not been a fan of Luvs diapers in the past, but because my mother insisted that they were the greatest thing when I was a baby I kept giving them a try with each of my children. My oldest was born in 2002 & I tried them then on her. Blow outs, leaks, and general unhappiness abound. She was a White Cloud girl, it turned out. My next child was born in 2012 (10 yr plan, who knew?), once again we tried them out and weren't happy. She was a Huggies or Up & Up brand girl. Finally baby #3 comes along in 2015. Our first boy & wouldn't you know it, he's a Luvs guy.So, the moral of the story is that not all brands work with all babies' butts, and just like jeans you may have to try a few different brands before you find one that works great for your little guy or gal, so don't discount these diapers due to a few negative reviews.FYI - I will say that the number one thing that I think will prevent leaks no matter what brand you use is making sure that the elastic around the legs is fully extended & flared outward ever so slightly when putting the diaper on. They're designed to act as dams to keep the stuff in and if they are collapsed they obviously can't work.

Cheaper than Pampers
Not as soft as the pampers. But very good price!

Happy to Save Money!
I have been using Luvs since my now 3-yr-old was a born. In the beginning I didn't know what brand to choose and was glad I was gifted many options. Honestly, during the size 1 phase, I likes Luvs better than Pampers or Huggies! I felt that leak protection was just as good and I didn't really like the mesh lining of the other brands. As he sized up we had some leaks (particularly size 2). However, my son was very petite so this could have been part of the issue. My nephew is the same age and they have never had leak issues with Luvs. Once he sized up again, no issues. When my daughter was born 5 months ago, I started out with the premium brands in the newborn size. I don't like to pay more, but I do like the umbellical cord cutout and the "wetness" indicator. As soon as she was in size 1, we switched to Luvs.We haven't had any regrets! Sure, you can feel that they are not quite as thick and cushy as the more expensive brands, but I think they work just as well and have been very happy with them. We will continue to S&S!
