Exo TerraNight Glo Moonlight Heat Lamp, A19 Reptile Terrarium Light Bulb, 75 Watts, PT2130A1

I have bought and tried/used more "black lights" in my life than I can shake a stick at, but this one beats them all hands down! Unlike others, this bulb has an awesome deep purple hue when lit and and is easy on the eyes as well as producing just the right amount of heat for the wattage. I've been using my first one of this mfg for over 4 months now and for the first 3 months it was on 24/7! I have tried the competitive versions from Zilla, including the 100 watt and aside from it not providing the additional heat I expected for the wattage, it casts more of a pink-not-quite-fuchsia illumination, which is irritating and agitating for both my visual perception as well as how my snakes and plants responded to it. The snakes didn't like the Zilla and my live plants balked and declined in its spectrum - worse still, the Zilla bulbs didn't even last a month when only being turned on for 12-hours or less in 24. I have been so impressed with the Exo Terra Night-Glo Moonlight that I'm now resolute to not use any other. I use mine with both regular domes and with the Exo Terra Glow Light Clamp Lamp - of which I can say the Night-Glo Moonlight bulb has the Glow Light lamp dome glow-in-the-dark much, much, much longer after the bulb is turned off than with a daylight blue or other daylight or day-like light or regular bulbs. I especially like using the Exo Terra Night-Glo Moonlight bulb with my Green Tree Python and Borneo Blood Python as it doesn't disturb or disrupt them unlike other black lights I've used. By far this is the best so-called black light I've ever bought and the snakes, plants, and I couldn't be happier with it!

I bought the day time one of this as well and I gotta say they are really great, they're worth it because they heat everything correctly and the night time one doesn't disturb anything.In stores these are waaay more expensive so worth buying it on here.I was really worried about it breaking because it's glass getting shipped ya know? But no it was packaged really well (both were) and it came timely and has lasted several months.

I ordered 2 of these because the price was so good and you can never have too many bulbs on hand. These are just like normal light bulbs, but give off a purple light. When I received them I did the shake test that I always do with normal light bulbs...and heard a tinkling as if something was broken... I put each into the lamps anyway and was surprised that they both worked inspite of sounding like they were broken. Puts' off a decent amount of heat and nice subtle light.

I have to admit I was little concerned buying a bulb off Amazon instead of the usual reptile store I go to for purchasing what I need for my little man . I went with a different brand based off the reviews and I have to admit I’ve never seen him more active ! I feel kind of guilty not turning to another brand sooner ! He doesn’t just go from one side to the other anymore (which I was concerned about but advised that as normal) now seeing how active he is I know now that may have been a little ill advised 😅My partner and I have a “He’s on the move!” Running joke as we sit and watch tv together and man I can’t keep up with how often he is roaming his tank now ! I have a 20 gal tank , bulb came in perfect condition and is at the perfect temp for the little guy . Long story short great buy no regrets and I think lìmon agrees ! I can’t speak on longevity yet but I made this purchase December 13th it is now January 15th and not a single issue so far .

I usually avoid reptile heat lamps. I use regular household bulbs instead because they last longer and are more durable. With that being said, I needed a dim light to heat my crickets. Crickets breed more in a dark, warm environment. I was not looking forward to using this product. I figured it would burn out in a couple of weeks. I was wrong. This heat bulb is still working after a couple of months (I keep it on 24/7.) I've even knocked it off of the cricket tub and onto the floor. That would have broken a regular household bulb. I was skeptical at first, but now I am satisfied with this product.

Looks really cool and isn’t that bright ( which is good ) because I could sleep peacefully at night because it’s like there isn’t a light but there is. Y’all should definitely purchase this product if y’all can please! U won’t regret it.

I edited this review from 5 stars to 1. The warmth of these bulbs is cozy for our bearded dragon, and warms the rocks nicely but not too much. The light it emits is soothing to her. The other colored night bulbs we've tried would always keep her awake, but not this one. I've had three of these so far. The first one lasted about four months, used 12hours/day. The second I ordered was a complete dud. It blinked on and fizzled out in the first two seconds. And the third, which was a replacement from the company for the dud, has lasted 4 weeks, having just burned out tonight and now I need another. The longevity is terrible and I am tired of worrying about my beardies warmth on cold pennsylvania nights. Shopping elsewhere from now on.

I will never look for a different night time bulb.The first time I ordered this bulb was back in July of 2014, and its still going! A few months ago I bought a second one thinking that the first one will burn out any day, and I wanted to be able to replace it right away. This light has done wonders for the health of my leopard geckos. Compared to before I started using this, their natural time cycle wasn't right. Now they have normal nocturnal behaviors. *UPDATE: The first Night-Glo bulb I bought in July 2014 lasted until mid- March 2016! One bulb = 20 months of use (almost) every night

El foco está muy bien, funciona exactamente como debe ser, le quite una Estrella peque el vendedor aventó el paquete en mi patio, no me contacto antes para salir, es la primera ves que un repartidor hace esto, de pura suerte no se rompió, porqué el foco no venía nada bien protegido
