I felt the need to review this because of several negative reviews. I ordered 9 of these because of the price. I didn’t have a single blemish in any of the 9. I used each of these with two panels of the Sun Zero theater grade blackout pocket curtains, and they are perfectly sturdy and look great. I would buy these again, if needed, and have no reservations about recommending them to others.

The rod is stronger and heavier than I had expected. It's a nice rod but there were a few flaws. To start with it comes with 3 brackets. We didn't need the middle bracket because we had a smaller window but it does come with 3. It also comes with the screws and anchors to hang it. The anchors are the cheap ones so if you need anchors I suggest getting stronger ones. The decorative ends push-in they do not screw into the curtain rod. Here's where my problems started.. The end pieces are bigger than I expected. I had hoped for a flat piece since I was at the corner of my wall but it worked out ok. But, know they Re not flat as the picture indicates. Second, the plastic piece that pushes into the rod was bend- not straight so if you look closely at my decorative ends you would see it tilts downward on both end pieces. In pictures it's hard to tell but it's bent down. And last but not least one of my decorative ends was delivered broken. Luckily it was a clean break and my hubby used some gorilla glue to put it back on and that is hardly noticable. I would have returned it had I not gotten ahead of myself and used a box cutter to break down the box before opening the curtain rod box. The smaller rod that has the end piece attached is the middle rod.Remove the end piece and the silver screw piece from it.Add the screw piece to the one that didn't have any attachments.Now, you can add the smaller rod in the middle of the two end pieces and extend as needed.

Good product for larger windows. Looks great and holds up with our heavier curtains (black out , thick). Would be excellent for lighter curtains. In response to a previous review about broken end caps, the white piece with ridges and a screw to join the end cap to rod for some reason comes installed backwards. The screw needs to be unscrewed and flipped to the other side of the white fastener. This allows for the screw to hold onto more of the end cap and in turn become more stable. Hopefully this helps future potential purchases.

Alright so I have these in my living room, I love them! I ordered more for my office, this time I longer rod 130 inches. The issue is the middle rod that connects to both sides is wrong. It should be a hole on both sides so they connect, instead it’s a hole on one side and a screw on the other side. See pics. I ordered two of these and their both the same. I’m confused, am I missing something or is the package wrong? If I’m wrong and someone could help me I’m more than happy to update the review other wise I’ll need to return this package.

When I was getting this out of the box, I noticed one attached end piece was crooked/slanted and the other was totally fine. The end piece itself was okay but the metal hole where you attached the piece to the pole was slanted so it didn't screw in straight. We had to use a small hammer and risked breaking the piece just to straighten it out. Luckily, it worked! Just disappointed that it came in that condition in the first place.

I was confused when I received the box. I looked up how to put it together on YouTube. The rod with the piece is the middle rod not the main one. If you take the end piece off then they will both go in. The seller should include that info because it really is a very easy install. I hope that helps anyone that was confused.😊

Rods look great and have the basic functionality you would expect, but have the common problem where the side rod only slides into the middle connector rod, so as soon as you go to slide the curtain open, it pulls the side rod out of the middle connector rod. In our case, we purchased the really wide rod because we have a big window in our great room and the curtain is mounted higher than normal. So, putting the rod back in place requires a chair or stepladder. I can usually finesse it so that it only breaks apart every 2nd or 3rd opening. I maintain a higher review because this is a widespread problem with lots of curtain rods. I can't believe there isn't a universal fix that comes from factory and matches the color. I think the off the shelf universal fix right now is electrical tape for matte black finish, and duct tape for nickel =)The instructions are very confusing. Out of the box, the rods don't connect to one another as they should. You are supposed to take off the end cap and re-screw it onto one of the other rods if you need a certain width. It could just be a lot clearer on how do do that.

Great but I found it also in Walmart at almost half the price

It's a beautiful product. I purchased it for my bedroom and I use heavy blackout curtains and it definitely can't hold them. It bent a lot and my father somehow secured the middle part to the ceiling (my windows are ceiling to floor, so I could not attach the middle part to the wall since there is no wall). If you have a heavy curtain and you are willing to figure out how to fix the bending problem, I recommend this product. Otherwise, it's only good for very light curtains.

It’s not like my old one that I pay 200$ but it does the job . If you are looking for heavy and delux should go to your local store. At the end I’m very happy . It’s not like people will come and touch for quality and the look is good . It is perfect for bedroom . The pole is skinny, but I don’t see it since it’s hiding in the curtain. I’m happy .
