This product is amazing!!! I have very tight, frizz-prone, curly hair. It used to take me 1 hour to straighten my hair and it would still frizz out if I was caught in the rain or it was a humid day. Well, thanks to this product my hair is no longer curly or frizzy. I got caught in the rain the other day and it remained straight and no frizz developed. This is a very small bottle of product but it did cover my medium/long hair plus had some leftover. I am an amateur and have never done anything but due my hair before. It was very user friendly and had very good instructions that came with it. I will be repurchasing this product.

I have had the Brazilian Blow out product from a Salon and I used same BB product at home and did it myself (still pricey). I couldn't find the BB online anymore so I bought this with a bit of skepticism. It is GREAT. Users be aware - after I did it, my hair felt gummy. I thought maybe it wasn't going to be nice. I went to bed and just combed it out in the morning and it was better. Third day (no wash) it was even softer and nice. I washed it the morning of the fourth day and the styling was a breeze. I used less product to tame the frizz and less heat to straighten my hair. I hope it lasts a few months. If so, I will update this. Heading out the door on a Friday night with my man with NICE hair in South Florida.

Overall I really like this keratin treatment. It smells very strong(made my eyes water a little) while applying but it’s not bad during or after drying and straightening. I put a before picture and my after photo is my hair after the first wash without styling just brushing and a few seconds of blow dryer. I did wait 3 days straightening each day then used Cantu sulfate free shampoo and conditioner to wash my hair. I notice a big difference in how soft my hair is(my hair is never soft) it has much more shine. It is smoother, less frizzy and curly. Drying time after washing was minutes, much shorter than before. It’s great value too, I used just under half a bottle on my hair.

Definitely “warms up” your tone if you have highlighted or lighter hair. This is true of all keratin treatments unless they are the purple toned ones made for blondes. I just feel indifferent about it. It was fine. Nothing remarkable. I will say I have been underwhelmed by keratin treatments overall not JUST this one. I feel like I get breakage DURING every treatment

I waited 9 months to make this review. I've used the product 3 times in the past 9 months and wanted to make sure I could give an honest review. I love the product. It keeps my hair shiny and sleek. More shiny than typical keratin products most just straighten this provides a healthy shine that's just beautiful. Ease of use is another reason I give this product 5 stars. Being able to blow dry with out the product being left in my hair like other keratins makes it easier to manage. For my taste I do it every three months due to re growth but other than my new growth the rest of my hair still looks great at 3 months. Give this a try you will not regret it.

My hair is coily, black with patches of gray, and damaged from hair coloring. The hair ends were extremely dry and frizzy. It would take 3- 4 hours to tame my thick, dry hair and sometimes within the hour, the frizz came back with the slightest humidity.The product isn't overbearing like it's formaldehyde counterparts. The process was 3 - 4 hours, but well worth the outcome of smooth, shiny and very soft hair. Now I can wash, blow dry and flat iron my hair in about an hour and 20 mins.After the second week of the treatment, my scalp was itching terribly. I would put oil on my scalp, but it weighed my hair down so it looked bad. I learned that I used too much heat for too long while blowing my hair. Yesterday, I washed my hair with a keratin shampoo using lukewarm water. Then i let it AIR dry so that there some dampness at the roots. I set the blower on the COLD temp and dried the roots. Today, there is very little itching.The key to maintaining your treatment is don't overuse the keratin maintenance products, handle your hair as little as possible, and use LOW heat.

I purchased the Original Keratin Research Express Treatment. I watched a few YouTube videos where people used that product & it was very informative & helpful to see. I used a little over a 3rd of my 4oz bottle. It took me about 6 hours to do the entire process since I was doing my own hair & made sure I flat ironed each piece of hair 12+ times because I have very dense & coarse hair. I then left the product on my hair for 2 days before washing with Keratin Safe Shampoo & Conditioner this morning. I was very pleased to see that my hair was straight when I dried it but also excited that I didn't need to use nearly as much shampoo or conditioner in the shower because the treatment made my hair so much more manageable & silky. I then left & stood outside in the rain in front of the school waiting for students for about 20 minutes. I only had a few strands of hair buck up lol as I call it. In the past my hair would have reverted to a full blown afro in any type of dampness even with copious amounts of straightening & product on it. I am very happy with this & will continue using this treatment. I just suggest wearing gloves while using it. It makes your hands feel soft while its on them but when you wash your hands they then feel stripped & like sandpaper. I was able to exfoliate my face with just soap because of this lol but my fingers are still very uncomfortable. There was no burning of my scalp or hands but the fumes can sting your eyes a bit when you begin applying to hair around your face.

I have been in the ocean everyday for about a month and this has turned my hair dry, curly and frizzy. Because salons were closed, I decided to try this treatment and WOW- just look at the difference. I didn't even have a straightener to use like the instructions say you should after the treatment, so your hair would probably look even better. I also have enough product left over to use a second time, and the shampoo and conditioner it comes with are amazing too. I am so happy I stumbled upon this treatment, definitely worth the price.

I have afro hair. I do this myself at home and I find it easy to use. Follow the clear instructions and you will see how lovely your hair turns out. For pure sleekness, it lasts about 6-8 weeks for me because my hair grows quick. If I'll use the straigtener once a week with this product, it's really good. I don't redo it until 3-4 months and my hair is still very good, it gets puffy at the base because of the regrowth but I just use the straightener and it works well - once a week. It seems to make my regrowth softer too!

First I've to say that I've been doing keratin treatments for 15 years. I've bought products in Brazil that contained the "safe" amount of formol.I just finished doing my hair and I was struggling to breath because of the extremely strong smell from the fumes when I was using the straightners. How's it possible if this is supposed to be formol free? I never had a reaction like this when using keratin products. It doesn't have a bad smell when you apply or blowdry.

I have been having Keratin blowouts for the last 7 both in the salon and doing them myself at home. What I love about this product is how simple and odour free it is. Unlike a lot of the products available there is no smoke and fumes with Inverto One as you rinse it off BEFORE drying and using the flat irons. This product was really really good very easy to apply and left my hair feeling silky soft and straight I had a few questions and emailed the company who responded immediately with all my questions answered would definitely recommend trying this and would definitely buy again
