Data Quality Project Roadmap
Executing Data Quality Projects: Ten Steps to Quality Data and Trusted Information has been one of my most complete resources for leading data quality improvement programs. Initially, I used it as a text book in one of the management courses offered in the MSIQ graduate program at UALR but later found it to be very useful in real-world applications. It really saves me a lot of time trying to figure out the right methodology for a particular project. Many steps and techniques covered in detail in this book provide detailed plans for information quality projects and on-going programs. There are tons of books that cover project management tools/techniques and there are many other books that talk about data quality but it's hard to find a good reference that covers both subjects without getting too much into theoretical aspects if the subject. In my opinion the author also does a better job in detailing data quality dimensions comparing to other developed frameworks. I highly recommend this book to IT managers, data contributors, and practitioners involved in the field of information quality.

ESSENTIAL FOR ALL MANAGERS INTERESTED IN GETTING HIGH QUALITY DATA
Danette's book is seriously one of the best books on the market on data quality, a must have!I have read most of the other books on data quality as part of my PhD at Cambridge University, but this is the one you should get. It is perfectly organized, easily understandable and absolutely practice proven. It covers key concepts and hands on techniques that can be directly applied and do not require any previous knowledge or IT know how. You do not need to be involved in a data quality project to find this book useful, the concepts and techniques can be easily integrated into other types of projects or your everyday business activities. I am using Danette's book every time when I am working with industry and it has never failed me, everything works. If you are also interested in more technical issues regarding data quality, I can also advise you to read David Loshin's The Practitioner's Guide to Data Quality Improvement, which complements Danette's book very well.High quality data is key for the success of any company today. Big data and business analytics are top on the agenda of most executives. Understanding how to make sure that high quality data is available has therefore become a business issue that is relevant for every manager. I highly recommend every data and business manager to read this important book by Danette McGilvray,

A book that keeps on giving.
I bought this 3 years ago when I began on a master data management project and it is still helping me wrangle data strategy and data quality projects today. Based on the information as an asset, a currency within organisations, this book closely ties business motivations to technical tasks. Content is clear, well-written and in plain English. Each step covers a description, business benefit/context and approach, alongside useful examples and templates. An essential addition to your data toolkit.
