MOSKY Golden Horse Overdrive Effect Pedal Boost Guitar Effect Pedal with True Bypass for Electric Guitar

This is an excellent pedal. Weather you want to push your edge of break of tone or push a well overdriven tone. I found that this pedal works exceptionally well with all my tube amps. Especially the 6l6 powered tube amps, I don’t know what it’s but it just does. Pleas don’t expect it to do magic you do need to tweak it to get to your desired level. I found that it pushes a ts9 amazingly. I had bought this to use on my practice board that is stationed at the band practice room. I’d easily recommend this to anyone who what’s a little bit or more of that extra juice. Great pedal Mosky.

I didn't have high expectations for this pedal but I think it's great. Never played an original, but this sounds really good as a lead boost - it really cuts through. Only had it a few months ago I can't speak for the quality of the build but so far, so good! Great deal for the price.

I should've bought the Silver horse. The Golden horse just sounds muffled compared to the Silver. The extra voice control on the silver is worth the wait.That said.. the pedal is still great. I use it now to give my amp a sort of tube sounding warmth. Worth the $30 but if you can, get the silver horse.

This pedal sounds great but I used 3 times and it no longer works.

You can't beat the price and the effect quality for a Klon clone pedal at this convenient price. I watched the videos on YouTube and they all seemed favorable and after using it, I have to agree. Versatile for setting the amount of dirt or bite you want, or just use it as a booster. The controls are instinctive and the casing seem like like it is durable. I've tried other Klon clones that are more expensive, but this pedal turned out to be much better than I had hoped it would be. Very small footprint if you put it on your pedal board or just use it alone to stomp and play.

I bought the Mosky Gold Horse after trying a friends EHX Soul Food. I like it because it pushes my tele bridge pickup with a mid hump through my Princeton but not like a tube screamer. It’s not a too gainy OD but you can pull off some AC/DC amount of gain. It seems solid. The knobs respond well. It is small and sounds mean. I hate the super bright blue led. It can be a perfect clean boost as well.It’s cheap and sounds about 90% like other Klones. I don’t think anybody is going to know the difference when you’re joined by other instruments in a room.
