SEEM TO WORK FINE, WISH THEY WERE MADE SOMEWHERE ELSE
No complaints. Unless I'm wrong, water should have NO taste at all if it is clean. The water out of our fridge water dispenser using these filters has no taste at all compared to water from our unfiltered sink tap water so it appears these filters are taking out at least some of the chemicals or contaminants in our public water. The water from our fridge water dispenser is also crystal clear using these filters. I would note that I mistakenly left one of these in our fridge for over two years and it started leaking, leaving a small puddle on the floor. I replaced it right away with a new one I had on hand (thank goodness we kept spares) and the leak went away. The directions say replace every 6 months, I should have paid attention to that, my fault. I started using this brand for cost savings because the local appliance stored was charging $45 a piece for original Whirlpool filters for my mom's fridge and recommended also that they be replaced every six months. You do the math on that and it is $900 for original name-brand water filters assuming you keep the fridge 10 years. That seems like a LOT of $ just for water filters.
