PMP Examination Practice Questions for The PMBOK Guide, 5th edition: Updated 2014 Paperback – March 31, 2014

This book was invaluable in my study effort for the PMP exam, which I passed. The style of the questions was very similar to the exam (typos and all). I would recommend reading/studying the PMBOK, using this as an assessment, and then going back to re-study the areas where you miss the most questions. Worth the price!

l just passed my exam, and will give some credit to this book. The vast majority of the credit goes to Rita's guide, which also includes about 400 practice questions. I did find it very helpful to practice loads of questions just before taking the exam, and this concentrated book of consistent questions gave me a different perspective. I tried a number of the online sites, but found them inconsistent, and rarely explained why answers were correct or incorrect.All of that said, this book could use a major re-write. The editing was non-existent. There are typos, misspellings and poorly formed sentences all over the place, and it seems to have gotten worse as it went on. Either the editor quit halfway through, the publishing deadline caught the author halfway through self-review or maybe I just became more sensitive to it as time went on. The second main issue is that the answers were often lacking explanations for why something was incorrect, or would just reaffirm that an answer was correct because, well, it was correct. Finally, I felt like there was way more focus on ITTO than what I experienced with my random exam questions. That may or may not be represantitive, but I will admit it freaked me out in my final days of study.All of that said, I still give this 4 stars because of the price, the general quality of the questions, and that I almost always agreed with the answers. That last one sounds odd, but I have run into online sources and a study guide (not Rita's) that had a number of questions that I could in no way support the answers to.

Very good book, with lots of questions and answers. really helped.

Did the job. The questions are poorly written with respect to grammar. This book wasn't checked by an editor. Many of the questions seem like they were translated from another language, by someone who doesn't know English well.

I found many typo's in this book which was very disappointing. I also found many sites online that offered free practice questions. Don't waste your money on this book.

I found it a good book, covering all areas of PMBOK in a very simple way. Easy to understand. I will recommend it for PMP beginners.

more tricky and complex question is to be included to prepare the exam in better way

It is a good book and the most important thing. You can check the correct answers and a full explanation is given for all the possible choices.
