Short chapters and review test after every topic.

I and some of my colleagues have been using this as a reference book to dive into on occasion, so I have to say from the outset that none of us have read it cover to cover.The explanations and chapters are accessible and easy to understand for us non-finance people and so far we have not encountered missing areas.I would think mainly for us amateurs, but a really good and well written book.

This is a very comprehensive book which covers all you need to understand to work in the field or to set up and manage your own set of books. It would make a superb textbook for any business, accounting or bookkeeping student and anyone who has a small business and wants to do their own books - and do them properly.

This book is everything you need to know about finance covering profits, bookkeeping, accounting and preparing budgets and forecasts. Ideal if you are interested in finance, in the business world and for personal interests. All the elements are here to teach yourself all that you need to know. Broken down into 4 parts and 26 chapters in all. Well laid out with plenty of examples given and checks lists to work from. Nothing seems to be left out. My other half thought it was one of the best books on finance he had ever seen and he's read many over the years.This is a must for any finance student, business person or entrepreneur in the making.

You need to be involved in business accounting to fully utilise this book, which is a comprehensive guide to business finance. It is clearly presented in an accessible structure making it relatively easy to navigate to any particular area of interest you need further understanding or advice on. All bases are covered, and can be used by newbies finding their feet to experienced book-keepers who need a good manual to hand.
