Amazing kitchen utensil
Would recommend this to anyone who cooks at home! Great design, easy to clean, the head isn't too big, and does the job well. Great for using when making batters and a quick stir for soups and stir-fries.

Glad we tried this brand - perfect amount of flex and durability
Something as simple as a spatula shouldn't ever go wrong, but somehow we have been through TONS over the years. Silicone usually melts or deforms after some time and many are too floppy to be that helpful. However the 2 that we bought from Mastrad (this and the regular spatula) are amazing - a good stiffness but still flexible to do sauces and creams etc. Cleans up well and we have had no problems with them absorbing smell. Price is great (around $7 for each!) and they are one smooth piece of material so nothing gets caught in any lip or bend. Was worried that without an ergo handle it would be a bit uncomfortable to hold but it 's been fine for us (maybe if you use them for a huge amount of time it would be an issue, but for most people it shouldn't be)Will definitely purchase from this company in the future!

Most Used Kitchen Tool
These are one of my most-used kitchen tools. Sure, there's a million silicone tools out there, but I like that this is a solid piece. I can clean it easily - no crevices or pieces to remove. I have a smaller version of this that I use all the time as well. These are perfect for stirring savory hot things as well as for baking. The handle has a solid metal piece in it that goes most of the way up the handle, so it's a very sturdy tool. I've tried some others (cheaper) where the handle was too flexible. I like the black color as sometimes curries or tomato-based foods can sometimes stain the silicone a little bit. I always hand wash mine and they last a very long time.

Serendipity
I was sent one of these by mistake several years ago and ended up liking it more than any other spatula I owned. Since then I have tossed out all my old spatulas and ordered a couple more of these for myself as well as some for my daughters. They are stiff enough to stir many things but still flexible enough to fit the contours of mixing bowls and baking dishes. Since they are all one piece there is less worry about food or bacteria collecting on them where the head connects to the stick on the other type spatulas. I have cleaned them in the dishwasher many times with no sign of discoloration or deterioration.

No more burnt build-up.
I bought this spoon spatula for one purpose--to stir substances that want to stick to the bottom of the pot. I wanted something flat at the end to disturb a wide swath of material adhering to the pot bottom. A spoon makes too narrow a track and a flipper/turner type spatula can't be angled right for bottom scraping in a deep pot. This item works. It's wide and stiff and straight enough to press down while flexible enough at the very end to hug the surface and get into the corners. Of course it can also be used for scraping the batter bowl or spooning out a taste-testing portion or turning the bacon--all the other things that my other spoon/spatula utensils may do--but it's the only one suitable for eliminating buildup on the bottom of the pot.

One-piece design is the best!
I had a set of spatulas from our wedding that had great heads and the perfect amount of flexibility, but I hated the handles on them. After having the handles fall out of the heads on my old spatulas during some time-sensitive candy making, I went looking for a replacement on Amazon. I decided on this one due to the reviews. The one-piece design means that I no longer have to worry about the handle detaching itself in sticky mixtures. I love the silicone because it is highly heat-resistant and great for stirring my candy mixtures over the stove. My one complaint is that I wish the handles were maybe two inches longer, to help save my hand from the heat coming from my saucepan. This style of spatula/spoonula with the curved head is my favorite and most used style of spatula.

great tool
Bought this more than four years ago and never did get around to writing the review, so I'm wrapping up that loose end now.You know how there is always that one thing you grab for, that one favorite tool? This is mine. I have a whole crock full of every kind of spoon and whatnot, but this seems to be the one I always pick up. It is just comfortable for me to work with.I bought some other brands of silicone tools at the same time I purchased this---and that didn't hold up like this one did. And it's laid against the rim of a hot pot or skillet many a time with zero damage. This is one that really worked out for me and I've been pretty happy with it.

This blew me away...
I wasn't expecting this to be as versatile as it is. If you remember the far edges are soft, you can use it for just about anything. I've read some complaints about the edges being soft, and sure, it's not a ridged spoon, but if you use it as a soft edge tool should be, it works better than ridged spoon. It's been used in batter, cooking, hot, cold etc. Even mixing gravy in a large roasting pan. It's strong enough to stir yet the edges are soft enough to form to all the corners and edges and being silicone, the heat doens't effect it.It's got a nice balanced feel that make using it even easier. And with everything it's been in, there's not a sign it's even been used.I never planned on being excited about a spoon spatula, but I'm planning to buy a couple others now. It rocks!

Exactly what I was looking for!!!
Very tough, slightly textured, seamless finish effectively resists cuts and scratches.Great shape: shallow scoop.Very firm so it functions very well as a spoon, yet just flexible enough to get nicely into pot corners.Very high heat seems to have no adverse effect (but I've not exactly left it in the oven at 450F for an hour to test...).

Excellent quality, withstands heat
The hardness/softness is just right. I use it to make scrambled eggs in a non-stick pan. The spoon is hard enough to stir yet the silicone is soft enough to scrape the sides of the pan. It is made of one piece and the handle is incredibly strong. So far I've used it several times and it still looks like new.

Sturdy and Perfectly Shaped
This is all one piece, so there are no crevices to trap dirt. It's sturdy and a great shape (with just the right amount of give) for scraping bowls and pans.

Excellent spatula
Excellent spatula. Withstands heat and oil well during stir-frying and pan frying, and easy to wash in the dishwasher. Can't imagine not having it anymore.

I can easily say that this is one of the best spatulas ...
As someone who has worked in a professional kitchen for many years, I can easily say that this is one of the best spatulas I have ever encountered. Would totally buy again!
