As usual, poor quality control from Timbetland
These COULD have be a comfortable and stylish shoe but Timberland doesn't appear to care about quality and hasn't for as long as I can remember. I've bought a lot of Timberland products and the quality is just so bad. The stitching is hit or miss in all of them, especially under the insole where they think nobody will see. On these particular shoes there was a defect on the toe box that you could visually see on the outside... not a big deal I thought until I could FEEL IT digging into my toe on the INSIDE of the shoe. Sent it back to Amazon. Timberland is clueless to how bad their quality is. I tend to buy 3-4 pairs of Timberlands every year and send them all back except 1 pair because there's always defects. I overlook cosmetic defects but it's hard to overlook the ones that interfere with comfort. NEVER buy Timberlands direct. Their "warranty" is a joke and they will fight you tooth and nail to honor it. They will always say that their shoes failing shortly after purchase is "normal wear and tear." If you must buy them go through Amazon. Their return policy on shoes is great.

Depends
The media could not be loaded. There are two options for a timberland work shoe; Radius and Reaxion. I have four pairs of Radius size 9.5. I’m a GC and CONSTANTLY on the move. I got bored and gave these a try for my quarterly purchase (investment). Here’s my take straight up: They are not charcoal, they are jet black. Instantly bothered, moving on… They are heavier than the radius, without question. Fit: Perfect, almost better fit than radius. Work day trial run: Heaviness not as bothersome as expected. Zero “break-in” time necessary. Style…. The reason I will stick with my radius, is they appear to be more suited for an older dude. Old meaning 60 and up, no offense accept it. I’m 35. They missed the bar somewhere and they’re a bit chunky in some angles, whereas the radius is youthful and almost gym-wearable. I think it’s the toe. The radius is more mesh looking and provides an exact equivalent of safety toe. That’s all, your choice, made mine. F boots.

Fantastic Safety Shoes
I have worn safety toed shoes for almost 15 years in various jobs and rolls. I can honestly say of the dozen or so pairs I have worn these are by far the most comfortable that I have ever purchased. I highly recommend them. If you work outdoors where there is a lot of water or snow then I would not recommend them, there are other better safety toed boots for that. But these are light, comfortable, and I cant even tell I am wearing safety shoes. Highly recommend.

lives up to the brand
my last two pair were the powertrain. great shoe, but the out sole was like foam, and both pair eventually split right at the point of flex in the front. and i mean, fully split like i ripped it in two. these reaxion don't have the same type of outer sole, so i have high hopes that they won't do that. either way, the shoe is so good, if these reaxion didn't exist, i still would have bought another pair of powertrain. so in terms of durability, i've only had them about a week; we'll just have to wait and see.

Really comfortable shoe
I ordered a 13 wide like I normally get in my other shoes and they fit well. I do a lot of walking and standing on concrete so I need a comfortable shoe. These are light and leave my feet feeling pretty good at the end of the day.

Best Shop Shoes EVER
Bought these because I took a new job in shipping standing on my feet all day but still need proper protection in the shop. These shoes fit the bill perfectly light weight, comfortable, and safety toe.Could not be happier with my purchase, the fit is spot on and dont kill your feet after a solid 12hour shift. Was wearing my Caterpillar steel toe boots and they absolutely destroyed my feet. These shoes actually helped my feet heal up while still working and didn't get any hot spots that caused more damage.Im seriously going to buy another pair for backup when these get thrashed, Im pretty rough on my gear but its because I bust ass every day. Would 100% recommend to someone else for long shop hours and rougher lines of work.Only draw back for me is im used to 6" to 8" boots and these do fit like running shoes so no ankle support or protection which is more a preference thing than a actual complaint. But as of now no complaints really just gotta see how long they hold up

Does not cut of foot circulation when leaning down
What i really like about these shoes is the fact they don't cut your circulation when leaning down which i do alot at my job. The plastic toe work great if you ever have to travel and go though TSA or metal detectors for work. I have gotten rained on with the shoes already and I i didn't get my socks wet which is nice, I was wearing raincoat pants. Really liking the shows so far.

SNUG, but COMFY
The heels dig a little. I ordered wide for the first time, and these were still quite snug. I undid the laces, and left more slack on them, to make more room for my feet. The shoes were nice and light. They might be composite toe, because they're light, but they still set off the metal detector, so I'm not sure.My feet are a little sore from standing all day, but these shoes made a world of difference. I would recommend getting a half size larger, and some gel insoles. Compared to my boots, these made my feet feel like butter.
