Can't really go wrong with this choice
I've bought several barcode scanners during my career to test products that use them. This Honeywell unit is excellent. It read a strong variety of barcode and has a ton of options that can be configured. It's works 100% of the time on 100% of the barcodes. It's fast, usable and produces reliable scans.

Great for public use
I purchased this to use with Planning Center Online child check-in. It works great! never have any problems. Was easy to set up, running it on an iMac. I've been using it for about 6 months
