Starring John Hurt as Jack Blake, this powerful drama tells the story of an outwardly kind man who masks a terrible secret. Picking up two stranded women on a highway, the first part of Blake's plan begins to unravel. The stricken women are fleeing an abusive past, but little do they know that they've fallen into the hands of something far worse. Providing shelter and a warm, comforting nature, the couple are extremely grateful for Blake's hospitality. But all is not as it seems, and as the redoubtable Blake lets his mask slip, the unfortunate women must do all they can to escape his clutches.
