Q: Will this work for a 6 inch double wall pipe, need to brace the pipe inside the house it 18 feet

It should...the circular band will accommodate approximately 9" diameter pipe going through it, and the tabs on each side that the braces bolt to can be bent up to 180 degrees. The braces are adjustable up to at least 7 feet long. Hope this helps.

Q: How long are the braces

They are adjustable, 2 telescoping tubes - one inside the other. I have a low roof pitch and there was more than enough. I mounted the chimney clamp portion backwards so the tightening screw faced the house. It looks better that way.

Q: Does it come with all needed screws and hardware?

It comes with the nuts/bolts needed to attach to the stove pipe. I had to use my own roofing nails to attach it down to the roof.

Q: Its the pipes outside diameter that counts here. Does this work on an outside diameter of 8"? "I think" isn't a good answer

If you look at second picture - there are dimensions that are specifying the size for the pipe brace. It is 10” and this is what I was going by then buying this particular one. I did not receive it yet so not sure what it will be. It is scheduled to arrive within a few days. 6” is the inner diameter.
