Q: Is it plug and play or is a driver required? Evil IT overloads do t allow them

I bought a couple of these, i never had to deal with drivers , i used on windows 7,8,10, linux (centos,fedora,ubuntu), and works even before loading the OS (for bios setup) . i'm a tech person, i never had issue with these keyboards, just connect and go. regards

yes. the right and left are on either side of the mouse. i have had mine for about 3 years.

Q: Does this have a scroll wheel?

This model does not have a scroll wheel, just a trackball.

Q: Is the trackball responsive, compared to a regular trackball mouse?

I don't use the trackball. I have a wireless mouse. However, it works jus the same.
