Poor Quality. Unstable.
Thought it was great and did not mind the weight. Purchased in March 2017, but only used it a handful of times. Today, I let the installer for our new ISP use it to access the entertainment center to perform his work. Not a big guy, fit, little on the short side, etc. Stepped on the top step and caused one of the sliding support rods to slip out of its slot as the two parallel uprights have become loose/warped and not tight enough to keep that rod in place. That essentially renders the ladder/stool unusable. No longer stable. Nothing cracked, broken or bent. Just weak design. If someone physically stood and squeezed the two uprights together, then the rod stays in it's tracks. Really disappointed.

Heavy, I have had for over a year,not safe to stand on. The wood bar is not safe.

Looks great but heavy
This ladder is very nice but very heavy-- I find myself wanting to use a simple one step stool instead. It matches our floors and bar stools nicely. Just not as easy to use as I expected.

Solidly built, solid walnut ladder. VERY NICE
This ladder is awesome. I bought three of them and will probably buy one more. I use them in my closets. I don't know why anyone would complain about them being heavy. They are solid wood, which is a little heavy, but they are easy enough to lift and I'm a 57 year old 130 lb woman. This is the best ladder I've seen. It's beautiful and it is solid. I cannot recommend this product any higher. I've had my ladders about 8 months now. Would definitely order again.
