Great beginner skates!
The last time I skated was either in rented ones or those AWFUL fisher-price skates with the plastic wheels. Therefore, I never really learned and looked like a deer on ice the first time in these, as we all do. Wanting to pick up skating as an adult and lured in by the cute appearance and price, I went with these as a self-bought Christmas gift. They’re EXTREMELY stiff. I grabbed a couple 5-inch ish sized river stones and shoved them in the toe of the boots, a microfiber cloth and a tenderizer mallet and went to town on them. Dampening the tongue slightly with a spray bottle, stretching into an U-shape and blow drying is the best way to condition them. I recommend my method because it doesn’t damage them at all, and if they’re too stiff you’re likely to not enjoy skating in them. Make sure you’re totally happy with the size first, because I wouldn’t condition them before returning them. The trucks are also shipped really tight, and when skating for the first time they were impossible to get going on smooth skate-concrete, so I loosened them 1 full turn.. I’d say they have about 20 hours of wear time in now and they’re a dream. I’m still not great, but they’re comfortable and a smooth ride. You’ll get lots of compliments from seniors lamenting about better, simpler days, and how nice it is to see people picking up a wholesome hobby again. :’) I love these and I’m so glad they were in a price range a beginner could afford so even if they’re in a closet for a while, they’ll be ready for use whenever you’re ready.

LOVE THEM!
Just turned 46! Happy Birthday to mee!! As a child of the 80s the design took me right back to my childhood. Last time I was on skates at a roller rink was about 10 yrs ago. Haven't been back but still loved that feeling. Before that it had been at least 25 years. I'm saying this all to say to the women in my age group, don't think you're too this or too that to get back in the game. IF you're intrigued but second guessing, please go for it. It's your life boo and we only get One. I chose the Moxiroller because they seem to be one of the recommendations that suits me best according to my research on YouTube and was relieved to find this particular style on sale. I haven't tried them yet. Just got them today and getting ready to buy knee and elbow pads and wrist guards because I can't afford to be laid up somewhere with something broken when it could have been avoided. Didn't order those items online because I want to make sure they fit me properly and I'm too excited to order online only to find my choice wasn't right. I ordered a size 10 because that's my shoe size. I'm 6'0 tall and weigh about 195 pounds. These skates fit perfectly! I can't wait to try these beauties out at the basketball court near my home to practice then I hope to skate to it from home. Then I'll hit the roller rink. Hope to see you there. Happy Skating, Cheers.

Solid skate!
They definitely smelled like strange cigarettes... But I think it's some artifact of the production or something.I normally wear Vans in men's size 7 and I ordered a size 7 in these and they fit me exactly. If you need any wiggle room or prefer thick socks, then sizing up might be the way to go.The materials are really rigid and thick, which is probably great to keep your ankles supported but it also means that it's hard to lace these up really tight, especially if you have narrow feet. The wheels seem like high quality and the stopper is adjustable. These do not come with toe covers. All the parts seem to be good quality.I like them a lot.

AMAZING SKATES!!!
I did SO much research on quad skates... an embarrassing amount, haha... which led me to Moxi skates. I'm not a derby skater, I don't do tricks, I simply street skate, and these are absolutely PERFECT for that. They're definitely meant for wider feet, as the boot is stiffer and doesn't allow for too much tightening, especially at the top. So, it's great for wide feet and larger calves. The plate is quite heavy, so they're great if you're a heavier skater! I did some modifications right off the bat, like switching to 82a wheels, which are harder than the 78a wheels it comes with (better for concrete, imo). I also added toe guards, I customized myself, to help keep them pretty (highly recommend getting some!). Overall, I highly recommend these! They're sturdy, really well-made, and absolutely ADORABLE!!! 🌈🤩🌈

Me encanta

Tough love but great skate!
Most of the reviews are spot on. Boot is super stiff. But once the skate got warm, you can push the boot to your foot and it can be almost molded to your foot perfectly just tighten the laces as you do and it stays. I got an 8 and it was roomier usually I get a 7. I’d suggest, bending the whole boot around and it helps make it not so stiff also. And as you skate more and more it will become for flexible I’m sure. I wouldn’t recommend this skate to lil kids unless they just walk in them to get a feel for skates while you pull them lol. I don’t lace the hooks for more movement and squat to bend and stretch the boot helps a lot. Not sure how strong the hooks are and whether they can withstand the bending. But doing this made me happy knowing I can wear them. But there’s so much room for thick socks. Broke my foot back in august and after healing, my older new skates are way too tight and the pain was bad they were a size 7. But for a size 8, their spacious. SO MUCH padding in the boot especially around the ankles. This skate just needs some tough love to start. I may dismantle it to the boot and just beat it up some, cause the more I bended the boot the flexible it got.

They run big.
They’re great quality skates, but they run huge. I ordered a 9 and I wear a 9 in women’s. These fit more like a 11 on me. At first I thought I accidentally ordered a men’s 9 even though the listing says it’s for women. I am exchanging them for a smaller size.

Buena Calidad y Talla correcta, Estéticamente hermosos

The media could not be loaded.
